I wonder would it look better with the textures......'baked'? For you know....to make it realistic as like all the other trainz transits out there. But on the other hand, this is really amazing that from a photo to Photoshop to make it into a texture!

On the other hand, most 3D modelling programs have active AO rendering options, so it's no big deal to have a model appear baked even before it's mapped. Have almost finished the modelling for the exterior modelStill a few bits to add, and a couple of adjustments, and I can then make a start on mapping this beastie!

Also a quick render showing the 'outside' model's cab, which includes a relatively detailed model of the cab, made necessary by the very large windows!
