GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

For my first homemade piece of content, I am attempting to create a D&RGW Idler Flat (for something simple).
The work so far.

Ok, so when I tried to export the car, I get an error message saying "ignoring mesh- no texture mapping for mesh:Box 3". So, the model looks like it should but without the handrail meshes. Would anyone be able to tell me how to fix this problem?

I guess it is your handrail mesh (Box 3) giving you that error. Simple to fix, apply a texture to Box 3 mesh and UVW map the mesh.

Your issue is a common beginner's mistake.

Update: I got it! It still needs painting as well as a few tweaks.

And the polycount is? Not to meaning a ruisance but i stopped so many projects by heavy Polycounts. As some of the guys here in the forums have low spec pcs and Trainz isnt friendly with FPS

Thanks for the kind comments everyone :). I'll get back the polygon count that really matters which is how it is in trainz. As of now I'm trying to think of a way to get the window covers to go up in a command kinda like how there's the visor feature on newer JR stuff. As a pantograph, the AI would just look silly :hehe:

High poly count is nothing that can't be remedied by a good LOD mesh......
 
Does Anyone know how to make the Configuration File for a Spline Created with Gmax,My issue is the Config file set up? I made a Spline with Gmax with trainz Plug in installed and I made the mesh but I go create it in Content creator and I commit it and everything is fine but i go to view it in Survivor and Nothing shows up? That tell me it's a configuration file issue.
