Hello All,

I was just wondering what is your favorite steam locomotive from the USA?

because mine would have to be:

1. UP FEF #844
2. Southern 2-8-2 4501[Which I hope they can get it to run]
3. UP 4-6-6-4 challenger #3985
4. Daylight #4449

I will go with Western Pacific's 4-8-4 "near Daylights" such as 485.
I would LOVE to see this as freeware. It could be based on the already on the DLS SP Daylight.:udrool:

My favourite would have to be the 4-2-0 John Bull - a British engine customised for American terrain.

It once had a cab, and a bigger tender, than it does now, but it's still a grand, old locomotive.

Ah lemme see, probally the UP Challenger 4-8-8-4. But to be on a less stereotypical note, Shays, and the early designs that were powered by wood.

As an older member i could say i have seen these topics one and a half years ago no you need not to say more.

Sorry, but I don't agree. This is one of Many Threads that imply a bit of Boredom, not a Release or Problem that needs solving. :n:
