Why? Because she has had a tough life. She was thrown off an enbankment, rammed by a truck full of potato's, caught fire with a full load of coal and water in a roundhouse, disgraced with that stupid fake stack, painted in UP colors for a movie, and been constantly operating since she was built.

And yet, day after day, she chugs on. Getting her running gear overhauled this year too.

probably my favorite D&RGW loco of all, besides 463.
463 was the first Steam locomotive I ever rode behind, and got an in-cab shot back in 2002.

But my favorite has to be any of the EBT mikados.
Big for NG, but not the most well know of the NG world.
