Download Help Needed

I am getting this error message. Windows cannot complete extraction. The destination file could not be created. What do I need to do? This is occuring when I try to download the game. I get to the setup files, but then I get this message.

This sounds like you have a corrupted download. You can try again using a download manager such as Free Download Manager or similar. Firefox or Chrome may have a better time than IE, and the other recommendation is to try a different server to download from.

If you are using wireless, try connecting directly via cable to the internet router, and turning off your power saving features for your network adapters.

I tried multiple downloads, and a download manager. And Im hardwired in. Is it possible my computer cant read zip files? Its a brand new 2500 dollar Asus, so its not junk.

A couple of questions:

1. Is your Windows 32-bit or 64-bit?
2. Have you tried an alternative unzipping program?

You can check which version of Windows your computer has by clicking on 'start', then going to control panel, then double click on 'system'.

If you have Windows 8, then this can be accessed by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, pointing your mouse pointer to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking Search, and then entering System in the search box, and clicking on System.

You should then see a section called "system type", which will tell you if you have a 32bit or 64bit operating system.

If you do have a 64bit operating system, then please let us know the full error message that you are seeing with your download.

Yes its 64 bit. The complete error message reads: "Windows cannot complete extraction. The destination file could not be created."

That's usually to do with permissions, move it from wherever you downloaded it to and put it in a folder that has nothing to do with Microsoft then try to extract the files.
