Error: Cannot Find Destination Message

For some reason, I am running trains on the NCL of pagroove's Electro Island and I'm getting a "cannot find destination" message when there is literally no faults in the track and the destination is on the track. Is there a way to fix this?

How did you determine that the track has no faults? It could be something that is not easily visible - a disconnected spline joint for example. Or a junction lever that is not placed correctly.
try placing a trackmark halfway to the destination and telling the consist to go to it. Continue getting halfway closer until you get the error. The problem might become obvious, if not, continue placing trackmarks to narrow down the location of the issue.

Probably a bug with the route. Pagroove said he's working on a TRS22 one.

If the consist is unable to find a path, double click on the track that goes to that destination. Does it highlight all the way? If there is a disconnected spline, the hightlight will stop at the disconnect.

Place track marks along the path your AI driver is supposed to drive at various locations.
Get in the cab with the AI driver and go for a ride with the AI driver and have the AI driver drive to each track mark. You may want to do this one at a time rather than put them all in the schedule.

The AI driver will drive until it reaches a point where it can't and post the message "Can't plot route to selected destination" and halt.

At this point, you take over driving.
Get out of the cab and continuously check the track for broken spline points. Here the track will appear lifted or separated.

If nothing is found, you will need to inspect the route in question in Surveyor. This means following the track above while looking for issues such as broken track splines, disconnected level crossings, and direction markers facing the wrong way.

In the end, if nothing is found, then it may be a schedule issue. Check your schedule carefully as you may have put in an incorrect destination such as the wrong platform that's blocked by a disconnected track or direction marker.

This process can take time, so plan on spending it with a lot of patience.
