Download from Download Station Problem

Having clicked 'download' on download station to download "the Ghan" 2010 version rolling stock (recently released), CM 3.3 opens up and shows the downloads with question marks beside them (can't find location). I have run network diagnostics from within CM 3.3 with no issues showing up.

Anyone have any clues about what I might be doing wrong, and how to rectify it?

Hi Russell,

What was the kuid of the item you were trying to access? I just check using cmp 3.3 and can only find items for build 2.5 or lower - nothing actually created for 3.0+. The 2.5 versions downloaded fine!

I have been getting question marks quite a lot lately when I try to download via CM. I just put it down to a server issue as I am able to download by FTP link without a problem

If these are really new items, they may show ?s until the database is updated. Check back another day, and the items will be available to download.

If all your installed content shows ?s, you have to do a database repair.

Hello Bricey - the kuid numbers are <kuid:211014:100523> through to <kuid:211014:100528. I only found them on the DLS just prior to starting this thread.
Thanks to JCitron & Andy for the advice. Just as a point of interest, how do you download using FTP?

As mentioned, my search the previous day only showed 2.5 or lower versions. The KUIDs you are now showing were not listed. However, this morning they were listed and I was able to successfully download them using CM 3.3

Launch your internet browser and navigate to the download station. Find the item that you want to download and click on 'Download Page' instead of 'Download (Helper)'. A new browser window will open which presents 2 options. Choose the second, which is 'Download (FTP)' by clicking on the yellow text. A download dialogue box will open from where you can choose where to save your download, which is in the form of a CDP file. To get it into the game launch Content Manager and from 'File' choose 'Import CDP'. Browse to where you saved your CDP and double click on it to import it into CM. Once it is there go to the 'Open for edit' tab in CM, find your asset and right click on it, choose 'Edit' and then 'Commit' from your sub menu.

It sounds more complicated that it is !
