Disneyland, California Adventure route (warning large # of pics)

sweet. i remember riding on this when i was a kid. back then the trolley in toontown still existed, the monorail was still dead-end (i think they where in the process of making it a circle, i was 5 then, i'm 14 now).

Just as a question are you planning on adding the toontown trolley?

It all depends, on what I have availiable....Ideally I want to animate as many of the rides and attractions as possible, either via Built in motions, or.... using invisable track.....
My list of attractions so far that I want to animate:
mad tea party
alice in wonderland
cassy jr. (by special request)
small world
thunder mountain
splash mountain
horse drawn carriages
horseless carriages
people moves (im putting them in because i like them)
autopia
submarine voyage
tower of terror (easy to animate)
king arthur's carrossel
jolly trollys
Mark Twain/ columbia
canoes
winnie the pooh ride
innovations
the rocket ships

(how about that list:hehe: )

and of course the RR, and monorail will be the main features of the board... I may also make the People movers, autopia, Mark twain, cassy jr, and horse-less carriages... rideable, but as of now i need to up-grade my computer to handle the massive amounts of details going into this board.......its starting to slow down

haha, my bad,... but seeing as its part of the park, and you can see it from the Train, im going to try to make it.....

You said you're doing thunder mountain. I thought you said you were going to do the Living Desert. Change of plans or did I just imagine that?

you missed a point

UH, The d&rg 4-4-0 has a strahgt funnel, maybe you can make EP ripley with that, because thats what it has.

The Engines are the same wheel configuartion, but their stacks are different,
......yes, I understand that there is an engine i can reskin for both, i am still looking it over, to see how close it resembles these engines

also, im sorry, before..... I was thinking you meant elvenor's engines (I got the two engines mixed up)

Reminds me of a joke:

A brunette was going to Disneyland saw a road sign that read "Disneyland left" so she went left and made it to Disneyland.

A red head who was also going to Disneyland saw the same road sign, and also went left, she also made it to Disneyland and had a great time.

A blonde was going to Disneyland and saw the road sign that said "Disneyland left" so she went home.

:hehe:

Well what are you gonna use for ep ripley, fred gurley, ernest s marsh, and ward kimball.
well as for the Ernest S. Marsh, someone was making a model of another train with a simular configuation as this engine, and agreed to modify the mesh to match Disneylands Engine........... In addition I have been fast at work learning how to model using 3d modeling programs, and I expect to be able to begin making the other engines sometime within this year

more rides im planning to animate:

california screamin'
grizzly water run
jet engine outside of soarin'
maliboomer
zephyr
mainstreet electrical parade
other parades
fountains
fantasmic

I also am toying around with an idea to place invisable tracks around the park and create a network of paths for animated guests (individuals, and families) to move around through out the park... Just to create an even greater sense of realism,... when all finished this hopefully will be on the cutting edge of trainz

as for the fireworks and fantasmic shows, I am working on as system that will work like a projector screen..... and will be clear and invisible, unless a show is playing,,,, at which point the shows will play through using sound blocks placed through out the park.........

in addtion, one of my largest projects as of now is aquiring music........ at this moment I have an extremely large data base consisting of songs of disneyland (from both rides and backgrounds)... that I plan to make into tracks that play in certain areas of the park.....(ex: I have all of the background music from paradise pier looped into a long 32 minute track)......

so when completed im expecting this park to be an extremely close representation of the park

Tired of this thread yet?

Well, lately I have been at a loss to make any significant headway on this route but, today seemed to be different..... I spent quite a bit of time working on the entrance to the Tomorrowland Monorail:

In these pictures, I added shadow underneath the ramps leading to the plaform..... I feel that it does pull the scene together nicely

Now this one is a shot of Tomorrowland RR station, seeing as I was working on the monorail, I felt it was necesary to work on one of the more neglected parts of the Route...

Any comments? Critisizing? (besides of my spelling... You know who you are:p )
