I have to agree with you. Plus it will reduce the amount of traffic and parking your car and finding it problems which we had to face when I went there back in March during Spring Break.Hey Disneyland is a blast but I think the one in Florida is laid out a lot better. I was in Florida back in September and will be going again this September. You can almost forget about the rest of the world when you're there because the property is so large.
Walt had Florida right. The problem now is that people are more worried about money instead of environmental impact and convenience. If they were to expand the monorail system to go to all hotels, themeparks, and waterparks, then I suspect that their diesel fuel bill would be reduced by at least 80%. Biased opinion or not, if Disney got rid of the buses for monorails, they would eliminate excessive fuel bills (the buses only get about 4 MPG) and pollution. The monorails run on electricity so there is no pollution.
So im trying to design a signal system that works with the monorail operator. What ive come up with is a signal that identifies whether the train is finnished loading and ready to procede.
the way it works is that the monorail moves into the station and trips a trigger that turns on the signal system. the monorail then goes through the normal load proccess, then when the loading is finnished, the signals on the platform turn green (idicating that all cast members are cloear of the vehicle and they may procceed).
i used the ATLS sytem to work it,
so whats your opinions?
