Disappearing assets ?

When skimming over my small layout assets vanish then appear again.

Its a one boarder surrounded by sand, sea and some mountains which took a further 8 boards to create an island....however....when skimming over the layout..... full boards which are sea wont appear at all until i go up close.....this is the same with many assets.....some appear then when i tilt the cursor they vanish.

Unable to take wide view screenshots as huge swathes of ground would appear empty.

Is this purely a memory problem ?

The laptop i'm using is now under average spec.......cheers

As you say it's a memory thing, if you go slower the system has time to access the assets and they will appear as they should.

There's your answer.
You need a really good desktop to keep all the assets and distance in view constantly. :wave:

Thank you....i thought as much....a bit disheartening that i would need £1000+ to get the full benefit from such a good game.

However......it's something i will have to seriously think about......thanks.

6-7 hundred should get you something decent, well capable of running trainz. (desktop). Build it yourself.
