CMP problems

Hi,

I've just reinstalled TR2006. When I try to edit content by right-clicking amd selecting Content Creator Plus I get an error message telling me I need to install MS .net 1.1. I have .net 2.0 SP2 installed.

Because I already had .net 2.0 installed I did not accept the option to install 1.1 during the reinstall. Did I mess it up somehow?

Have you tried "Edit in Explorer"? That appears to be the most common path for config editing.

Content Creator Plus is exactly what it says, it is for new content. To edit an existing item you should use edit in explorer as Driver Col says.
And yes I believe you will have to install MS net1.1

Thanks for the replies, guys.

I reinstalled the game, accepting the option to install .net 1.1, and it works fine.

I'm a newbie at Trainz and I use Content Creator Plus to help me edit broken assets. I fear that if I use a text editor, I'll probably blow the whole thing up.

But given time, I'll use it.
