thanks Bob, if you think this is big look at my Port Coquitlam greater Vancouver area

Hi Bob if you think counting the tracks is the problem try the switches and if still not convinced put the yard at work on a fridaymorning: TS12 did it again

regards
Roy:wave:

Roy,

This is awesome looking. Your yard is huge!

How is the performance?

The scene will look awesome when you are done landscaping.

John

Performance is absolutely more than acceptable for my standards

Thanks John,

As most trainzers know my standards of performance and quality are like german DIN standards.
This said for those not familiar with ISO and germand DIN standards are amoung if not the highest in the "civilized" world.
I refer to the DIN standards as myself and my company in the 80ies and 90ies wrote for the german government the first IT or digital DIN ISO standards together with the government and based upon our sw and expertise. Enough before I get to much side tracked and emotional:hehe::o
My trainz tests are done on full sliders and 1920x1080 monitor and in cases like Golden yard, town, mountains, airport etc yes the fps drop in this region and the sw draw distance limit kicks in as if I am using a cheap low end computer so running 1600x900 full sliders it works like a charm and I even can fool the draw distance by using the options settings an lower the textures and trees one or 2 notches down not noticable from far to have a thrill running a consists in a fery crowded place Like Golden classification yard.
As I told Bob in the greater Vancouver part i have yards double or triple the size of this one and yes still can manage the thing not to capsize:hehe:
it all comes to the point of getting what the Germans call proudly "fingerspitzengefuehl" or got it n my fingertips, knowing how to, encoding the Da Vinci code in Trainz;)
Much more to be said but keep it short today ok? Have a good one John!

There is a wonderful saying I have : "It is not what happens to you but what you do about it"

this is the result so far coming from the East Ottertail going West to Golden called the Kicking Horse pass trail which is infested with the texture bug and resetted all textures rotation and blending with others gone...
So redid till here so far and looks ok and hope stays that way.

So is it a scenery item?

nope train consist with the jigger whatever they would call it you can run it with an industry and log lots of big ones.

And by the way what kind of lumber mill are you using? the reason Im asking this is because the seldom branches main products are grain and lumber and the lumber mills I have at this moment arent very good.
