I working on the Lynton Barnstable route with T22, saved it. The following day, starting up trainz, it not appear in the ‘Select a Route’. Checked the local data folder and backups are there along with the tzarc files. Did a rebuild data base but the route still did not show in the select route.
Is T22 following another setting instead. Is there a way of checking which target route it’s accessing or is the route corrupted in some way.

Which version do you have?
<kuid2:425700:200001:1> 1930s Lynton and Barnstaple Railway 5.4
<kuid2:273129:101116:127> Lynton and Barnstaple Railway 3.3

In Content Manager, check if the route is somehow left open for editing.

If it is, try revert to original - right-click and choose from the list. You will lose any recent edits, or worse the route is corrupted. If the route is corrupted, we may be able to restore it from the .tzarc files.

This may occur if you shut down your computer too soon after exiting TRS22. While the program shuts down much faster than older versions, this varies with the route and now much local content is installed.

The tzarc files are there and checked for open edits. Just not sure after clicking the Tr22 application where the next path way lies. Is it the tzarc files it looks at first, then fires up the the trainz route

The .tzarc files are the compressed route and other assets. They exist under the various Hash-xx folders and also in the Backups/YY-MM-DD folder. The one in the Hash folder somewhere should open up and load up your route. You can't access the file directly under normal circumstances otherwise that can corrupt the data. There is a utility that may work with the files but there's no need to use that.

There may be another issue that's causing this. It could be that for some reason your route is marked faulty. This would prevent the route from showing in the Routes and Sessions menu.

Go into Content Manager.

Change Installed to Faulty and let that run.

If anything is faulty, it'll appear here in red.

If your route appears here, right-click and choose View errors and warnings. This may clear any fault due to revalidating (checking) the data. You may want to do this with any and all content that appears red by selecting it all and viewing errors and warnings. If it clears the errors, exit from faulty and then go back in to refresh the screen.
