getting it right

Angelah,

England is very beautiful as you portary it. Hope to visit someday.

I try to show my country as it is, but of course a city is a different matter as can be seen in my WCL1 route where the lines run into Paddington.
But once out of town, yes, England is a beautiful place and I feel myself very fortunate to have been born here. I think it is called loving your country, I am sure you feel the same.

Good luck to you and all our American 'cousins'.

Kind regards,

Angela

On the DS

Very nice... If I may ask, where did you get those naval ship in the harbor from?

Dear SBourget,
I think one creator is whecsailor....
The kuids are HMAS Ambush at sea = 102657:40045:1
Next USS Greene DD Clemson Class = 67261:29361

Hope that helps,

Angela

Looking good, though in your shipyard, it looks as though one of your cranes is floating a good ten or fifteen feet off the ground...

Airborne

Looking good, though in your shipyard, it looks as though one of your cranes is floating a good ten or fifteen feet off the ground...

Never noticed that, but easy enough to put right. Thanks for pointing it out.
It must be from the Airborne Division....
I will correct it and as I have heard absolutely nothing from our Mr Hilliam will try sending it to Auran again...

Hello

What upload problem is their with this layout?

What is the name or kuid of thee layout?

Hello young Mr Yeomans,
Nice to see you are still lurking around these pages and taking an interest in things Trainzy. I hope your life has worked out okay since Christmas, is it that long ago.....!!!

I upload as a standard cdp and it goes fine and at the end I got the message 'Package [or asset?] upload successful'. This means Auran must have it/them - there are 2 versions.

The kuid, which I must be honest and say I have never checked before may be the cause now I have looked.
These are the 2 numbers :-
2:87158:103771:0
2:87158:103776:0

I have never seen kuids like that before! Any ideas on them?

God bless and all my best wishes for you and your family,

Angela

Angelah, yes, you're correct, they'll fail, as the kuid ID you've got, ends with 0 - hence it'll make them XXXX:XXXX:127, (the XXXX's being your kuid-id and that of the route) which will result in a failure to upload. Increment the kuid ID by one, so it looks like XXXX:XXXX:1, and they should upload successfully.

Hope this helps, and if you need more help, don't hesitate to ask.

Hello Young Ms Halliday,

This route looks sensational.

I cannot see these kuids anywhere, they are not in your profile or in the DLS preview area, they are not in the asset approval section or in the declined or obsolete section. Basically they are gone gone gone.

I will try and re-upload it under your kuid to get it on the DLS, we will have to wait til tommorrow to see if it was succesful, I'll let you know in this thread.

I really have no idea what happened to the previous uploads, occasionally things just go awol with this whole system, such is life.

I like looking at your routes in surveyor to marvel at some of the techniques and concepts you use as opposed to driving on another british layout, but we all find different ways to have fun with TRS. :)

Alan

edit - if it doesn't work we will try mulies trick. :)
