Bakersfield To San Bernardino

-Ok so its been a little bit but I'm back on this and have been hard at work on the Cajon Sub Division. I'm doing things a little different then what I did on the Mojave Sub so main reason why there hasn't been any screen shots of it. Work on the Cajon Sub is a little more accurate than the Mojave Sub as I know the route a lot better than anything else. Not only that, I have more info on than I probably need... example: track plans, timetables, etc.

-So here it is. Cajon Sub is not just the Cajon Sub. So far estimated mileage for the route is as follows:
-7 Miles of the Basin sub which is pretty much Colton's yard area and then some.
-3 miles of the Los Angeles Sub which is from Dagget to Yermo.
-9 miles of the Mojave Sub which takes you from Valley Junction in Barstow to just passed Hinkley siding. I might go a little farther on this cause I can, but not sure yet.
-5 miles of the San Bernardino sub which is San Bernardino to just before High Grove.
-81 miles of the famous Cajon Sub Division. San Bernardino to Barstow of course.
-15 miles of the Needles Sub which is from Barstow to about Minneola's cross over.
-For a total of 120+ miles. Now remember this is estimated, and there is probably more than this. I just based the mileage off my timetable.

-As it stands, I'd say an estimated 90% of track is laid and all the details that are around the track... junction levers (named accordingly), speed limits, frogs, rail joints, signals (named accordingly), relay boxes, etc... All that's really left is completing Barstow and Colton yards, as far as track laying.
-As I was track laying I put in details all over the route but without textures there's really no point in taking any screen shots unless the community wants to see track and grid! I guess you can say I'm working in a layered system... track, roads, scenery, textures, etc.

-Anyway, still, the route is far from complete but at least if I want to take a break from building, I can run a train prototypically anywhere on the route! Hopefully I'll get to texturing soon and get some decent screen shots up. For anyone who is a non-believer that this will not get finished, think again! The only way this will not get finished is if it becomes corrupt (in which I have many backups), or I die! But don't look for it anytime soon as there is a lot still to do, and custom make! There's no release date setup yet but when the time comes, everyone will know!

EDIT:
-Oh ya, I also forgot to include the Palmdale cutt-off line too! You will be able to run trains on it too from Colton to mp459, around Hivolt area!

-Double tracked Mojave Sub. I know its not real but I tried to think like a UP employee on this to try and keep it proto as possible. So the only section of the line that is not double tracked is between Bealville and Cliff.

They actually do have it in the plans to double track all the way. The last I heard it's suppose to be completed by 2013. But I haven't seen any major work going on over there yet.

-^^^ that would really be very interesting to see in real life!

-Cajon Pass the beginning. None of this is final at all. Just thought I'd post a couple shots since it wasn't grid looking anymore.

Absolutely incredible work, Joe. I was just there over the summer, looks just like the real thing!

Can't wait for it's release :p
