Tear down the overhead, and you've won me over *chuckles* just a shame about the old trees, gods - used to think they were great, now...they make my skin crawl. Love the screenshots :)

Just a few things for you to go back to the drawing board and rethink. River traffic to Ipswich ended around the time of the Opening of the Ipswich to Brisbane line in 1875, when there was river traffic it was riverboats/paddle steamers due to the depths of the Brisbane and Bremer Rivers. And there was one wharf round near what was the Hancocks Sawmill which was the line that once passed under the bridge that links Ipswich to North Ipswich.

@ Ghosty, I was having a bit of fun building it. Once the route becomes complete, then I will make some changes when times comes to release the route.

It does not have to be exact when building it. If I am happy about it, then whats there to complain. Every moment when I am not doing my year 12 homework. I just tinker with Ipswich. Run my locomotives to my rules.

Every wednesday, I go out an do field trips down the Ipswich line taking notes and photograghs of every speedboard, signal, station fitting, points, buildings and enviroments.

Alright, first and foremost, we agree not too agree, thats fine, but please keep the hissy-fits private guys, we don't want an awesome threat hijacked and closed - right? Now, as an observation, NEVER ever take screenshots, showing splines and such, it detracts heavily from the image and really makes it hard to see the detail. Pull out the 'world' tab or somethting, so its a nice 'clean' screenshot, and people will be a lot more appreciative of it, as to me personally, I see shots where there's heaps of spline circles and that - it makes my skin crawl....

Hey Muliebuck,
what do you mean "just a shame about the old trees". I have a million of them on the Goonyella layout and I don't think I am about to replace them. Do you have a way to replace them all with a different set of gum tree groups.

I remember doing the time-warp Drinking those moments when The Blackness would hit me
And the void would be calling... Let's do the time-warp again. Let's do the time-warp again.
It's just a jump to the left. And then a step to the right. Put your hands on your hips.
You bring your knees in tight. But it's the pelvic thrust That really drives you insane. Let's do the time-warp again. And now we find ourselves in Ancient Queensland in a time when chaos and mayhem had come calling.

The year 1974 the Chaos the 1974 floods. In the following scene we recreate something that not many may recall seeing or that it ever happened.

A pair of 1460 class units substitute for a pair of 1300 Class as they guide a loaded coal train West through Dinmore.

the loaded coal train is not far from its destination.

For those playing along at home the loaded coal trains ran for a time from North Queensland to keep Swanbank Powerhouse going as some of the nearby coal mines supplying coal to the powerhouse were out of action caused by disruption from the flooding.

Stay tuned when we will do the timewarp again and go back to ancient Queensland to relive history.

Sure do Cookie, just use the 'replace asset' tool - its a lifesaver. Place the item to be replaced in the left window, select a new tree, put it in the 'replace with' and hit replace...boom - they're all replaced, can do track, textures, trees, etc - its a great tool.
