Anyone need a 'roughly' 3km long N/S 'straight' sector, with 750m crossing loop? Ideal for a 'spacer' of sorts between boards, only non-DLS items are some of Pofig's Gum trees...

Odd, I had no problems - jsut took about three days to get them all (didn't know which I'd need, so downloaded all of them), turns out I only need 'certain ones'. Getting them wasn't hard, reading Russian without a translator, thats not easy :P

Glt0145 Great to see you are getting back into routes. Would love to see your updated Goonyella route, if you need a tester let me know. Give me a ring sometime I am still around for the moment. cheers rowdy

NSW Widdin, 1979 - 4484 and SAR leased 847 arrive at Widdin with a mixed goods, and take the loop in preparation for a crossing (focus is more on scenery rather than train ;)).

Just been trawling back through this thread about 40-50 pages or so... wow, there's some extraordinary works, routes and content in here.

Smashing stuff from all!! Well done.

Nice to see some old faces (user names) back too - dimi of Wingham fame :p

*chuckles* well MY comment above Dimi's, was meant to be a comment about his customisation of the route I made for him, I confess, that looks pretty good, how it got responded too - above his picture, I don't know....

well I'm going to put a nice little video up for you to look at its not much not even edited but hey it will give you an idea of the work I have done on NSW2ACR its a long slog I have gone back to bare demi 2 times now each time I had more work done then I show here... this time I going about a few thing differently..

All the road that are in place have been put there by hand I had no real road data available and the track itself I had no track run only the over lay I put in manually in trains dem.. so far I have only put in some tunnels the first one under the border is not shown. I have completed some track levels and some curves. and put in place some textures and a few tree's I got hot working out in the sun.

Hope you like it..
the video is recorder at 30fps solid.. thats the stop on the fraps.. I had it set to that..

Its smooth as

seems it didn't work for some reason not sure why but ... Oh well will try again....

its still uploading to you tube so if the link does not work try it again later..

Oh yeah its prolly big..

Hi Rowdy,
have put in for a job at Port Headland. But it has to be the right money as it is only fly in/out of Perth. Will give you a buzz from work next week I am on shift Tuesday morning.

On a cold drizzly evening DD class #560 trundles along the line from Bayles with an up goods service.

Viewed from the home signal, we see DD 560 draw it's train into Koo-Wee-Rup through the rain.

DD 560 sits next to the coal stage whilst the fireman throws another shovel of coal into the tender.

A few days later, we see DD 582 leading DD 560 on an up passenger train outside Koo-Wee-Rup.

The sun glints off the two highly polished DD's as they roar northward with their train.

Now going nicely at 50MPH, the two DD's work their way across the flood plains towards Melbourne.

Zec
