Australian screenshots

hello all

just 2 of mine, i not specialist on Austalian screens but I found these engines on the DLS equipment a couple of CLP class,

Beautiful creations of the author vinnybarb.

just one regret because I did not find a cab dedicated to this locomotive.

Do you know if a real cabride exist for this loc ?

thanks.

Beautiful David!! Will that route you test your stuff on ever be released? it looks good

Sorry Matt, there's no way I'd put up something like that. It really is just my sandbox for trying things out. The grade through the cutting is quite embarrassing lol.
I haven't released the rock textures yet, I could do that in the short term but that would be all.

Cheers
Davido
His response to a similar question I asked a few days ago.

I think that's a no.

However, if enough people pester him....:p:p

Matt.

Just figured I should break up the modern monotony:

NSWGR 36' BLV louvred van. Period of service: 1910-1963. These vans were converted to the 36' fishbelly MLV vans as modelled by Davio between 1957 and 1963. A handfull may have survived in departmental service and one van has been preserved at Dorrigo in original condition.

Still needs many more louvres.

Hey all,
I've begun connectig two of my module's, Murenbindi and Wah Wah. The first stretch is almost finished. I must say that I reckon I should have made a 30mph stretch of track between two farms/vineyards long ago :hehe:

...Hopefully the run will remain between 10 and 20 minutes even with the long, fast straight...
Cheers

The route started off as one baseboard back in the TS09 days, it's grown over the past few months in TS2010.

Some nice shots of the M Class Aaron. Would you beleive that i was driving M232 the other day at Newport? The recycled Steam Locomotive, except for the engine of course.

If your interested I have the actual enginesound recorded from 231 back in 2003 when I put the tape recorder on the hood, kuid:404079:1135 , I'm also working on a custom cab for it too.

Loving the quality and attention to detail of the screenshots being produced lately, the more I look at them, the more they seem like photographs, especially yours Patchy, of what I can assume, quite likely incorrectly, is the former Kingaroy branch. Beautiful use of scenery and detail to texturing and such, to give that 'country' feel to it. Keep up the quality work people, I'm loving what I'm seeing lately :)

Sorry about this Aaron but... ew...

Stevo :hehe:

Hi Steve,

Lol'ed.

Someone did a W in V/line so I thought "why not paint a M".

The M was actually built from scratch using F class frames with the motors removed "also known as BR 08 Class" and had a Hydraulic Fluid Torque converter connected to the middle axle and a reversing gearbox with a D.E.R.M engine "GM 6-71 Series" while the drem's had twin engines the M only had the one "rated 150hp @ 1950 rpm's" the derm was capped to 1300 rpm's because of the generators max rpm speed.

For some reason, I actually like the V/line livery on that. Be interesting to see it with the V/line logo either on the side of the cab or on the hood. Great work!

does anyone know a Michael chugg or ching, supposedly he has a half done QR ICE then gave it to someone else then he offered someone else to finish it, if anyone has heard of this man can someone get him to email me

PS there are new shots up in brissie city screen shot thread
