Australian screenshots

In some parts, the framerate is smooth, in others, it has a bit of a tantrum, but was more an experiment in something to give people eye-candy, rather than something that'd be released - its just a two board forest, with single line, bi-directional running, so nothing fancy.

Similar behaviour I get when trying to mess with speedtrees and rock shale. Few other "glitches" as well, but more than anything just seeing who else experiences what.

Finally have approval, so a fitting last shot...

Thanks Mitch, I can reskin a wider variety out of those freightliner classics :)
Yeah, they're very simple to reskin. I've made a reskin along with Willem2's BP Tanker into a dairy company paint scheme for one of my routes, they're on the DLS.
Thanks,
Mitch
EDIT: Though I made a reskin of the Freightliner Columbia Day Cab, not the Classic. I might think something up. Could use it for a packaged milk fridge-pan...

Hello
Michael - good to see you again (only after a few days:hehe: ) nice loco too
Forest - finaly how many was that? good i won't be putting anything yet....
Steve - good job
Bye

Many thanks as now I have something to bring the milk to my dairy factory, as well as just parked outside the factory. I also have seen many parked in the trucking contractor's yard as well as at the actual farms. :D :D

Any more dairy items very welcome :D :D

Thanks
Peter Cokley

Well, in that case. I'd better get cracking on something else for 'Greenvale Dairy'...:o
Thanks,
Mitch
EDIT: In the mean time, I'm just going to enjoy Vinnybarb's CLs that have arrived on the DLS... Great job, Vinny!

No rush as I am still on a very steep learning curve and enjoying the intellectual challenge of it all. My dairy is a very long term project. I just keep being inspired by what I see every day on this thread :D

Thanks

Pete... Yesss!!! Outstanding!

Ghosty... some nice shots!! You have some serious 3'6" happening there, and it's all the better for this Sim. Awesome.

Yay, first to post the CLP's

Vinny, any CLF's??

Very detailed body and texturing

Ghosty, nice shots, bit small, but nice

Steve, more beautiful shots, are the houses tlanders??

These new locos are quite fun...

A couple of screenies from a re-tracked QR Cloncurry - Mt Isa to make it look like a sort of Trans-Australia Railway. I've never been out further west than Colleranebri, NSW. So I have no idea what I've created...:hehe:
Enjoy, or, at least try...

CLP 14, CLP 16, CLP 13 and CLP 17 with a 1800m freighter await the passing of 2208 and 2202 on a short mixed freight to (what was Mt Isa) Dry Crossing.

The back end of the freighter passes...
mitch456yui201101270002.jpg

The exhausts scowl and the ground shakes as the train slowly ambles out of Dry Crossing...
mitch456yui201101270003.jpg

Now thundering down the main, the CLPs drag their freighter through harsh heat along the constant grade changes.

The last shot showing the great detail of these locos, rivet counters will be pleased.:)

Hello
Steve - thats looks great but i don't think k-mart was like that when a steam loco was still in service
Ghosty - good work

G'day!

Mitch, where'd you get VinnyBarb's CLPs? I can't find 'em on the DLS, CMP anywhere! Are you a beta tester or something?

EDIT: Okay, I found them on the DLS, but CMP says 'Unknown location' and refuses to download...

Cheers! :)

Jake.

Hi, since I did not have the CLP Class beta tested by others, can any of you tell me of any issues (if any) with these? Like lag, stutter, flicker of polygons or such? I would very much appreciate any feedback (good or bad) of these CLPs and also of the new ANs too. Perhaps I should get some of you to beta test the next lot of CLFs?

The CLF Class will be ready when it will be ready :p.

In perhaps a few weeks or so as I still am working on the green, yellow+silver coloured AuNatRailway CLP15 and CLP8 at this moment followed by the QR National CLP11 and CLP13 and a couple of maroon+silver Commonwealth/Australia National Railway CLP/CLF/CLs.

@mitch456yui,

The same goes for you, any issues good and bad etc.? Did the CLP 14 and CLP16 load OK with the bogies as per config.txt --> KUID 184151:1009876:2 and KUID 184151:1009877:2?

As AURAN/N3v tell me I need to supply one of the front bogies for these 2 CLPs as the KUID2 184151:1009876:1 is missing. Yet these same people notified me that this particular Kuid failed to unpack with them (their STUFFED UP upload routine!!!), hence I had to upload KUID 184151:1009876:2 to replace these as the fresh uploading with the erstwhile kuid number would get rejected automatically.

What a "Circus" with AURAN/N3V! Will they ever get their act together?

Thanks in advance for any replies as this "Oz Screenshot" forum is read by more of you than the "Freeware forum" notifications.

Cheers and have fun  .

What? Which? As far as I know, they are all on the DLS under "TS09". I will d/load some of these myself to see if there are any issues. The only one I can think of is the "bogie" issue described in my last above post where I had to replace one kuid number by the next one following due to their (AURAN) false "unpacking" issue.

(A bit later..........)

Well, I d/loaded all of these via FTP and had no issues d/loading all of these. Except getting warned on the CLP16 and CLP14 there is a newer version of the bogies available. Perhaps this is causing your (location unknown" issue?

As a side note, I noticed some of the new AN Class locomotive still have the old TRS04 engine specs included. There are 3 different AN (AN) Class engine specs on the DLS, 2 are made by me and one by Alex23 (the TRS04 one). One of the other AN (AN) Class engine specs is better for cab driving as there (cab driving) the engine specs work different to outside view driving these AN Classes and the new CLP Classes which also use the same AN (AN) Class engine specs.

It would be easy for someone perhaps requiring a different engine specs to the currently used to d/load that and to alter the kuid number to suit in CMP/2 in that particular config.txt.

Cheers

VinnyBarb
