Australian screenshots

Zec asked me the other week, to 'try harder' with my modules, so here's a little something, inspired in part by some of the wondrous creations I've seen of late.
Looks good, although those gravity defying power lines looks a little weird.

steve

Good morning Pete! The pubs show up as being made by vinnybarb although they show as faulty in TRS 2010.

Railwayz

I made the new Tilknowle and the Railway Pub to work in TRS04 as well as in TS09/10 in both versions (although they are the exactly same creation). I suspect some of my other work will load into TS09/10 error free too or can be fixed with PEV's tools to work in later versions of TC/TS.

As it is time to move on and TS09/10 are king now and most of my older content is (and has been) working error free in TRS04 and TRS06, I can not be ar$ed to rework them to also work error free in the later versions as I am creating Oz engines exclusively now (for the time being anyway).

In any case one can not upload (fixed) TRS04 content to the DLS anymore.

FYI

G'day!

I thought I'd second that... Most of the content, all scenery items like houses, pubs etc, also show up faulty due to some textures missing or something. :( I got this from 'Dunny Corrugated' <kuid2:184151:304:1> These are the errors:

Error: Texture 'dunnycorro.texture' is missing or could not be loaded for mesh 'Dunny Corrugated.im'.
Error: Texture 'dunnycorro.texture' is missing or could not be loaded for mesh 'Dunny Corrugated.im'.

They are the same error but they show up twice.

Heres another example: 'Hotel-Commonwealth-Pub-Oz'
<kuid2:184151:261:1> These are the errors:

Error: Texture 'maincomm.texture' is missing or could not be loaded for mesh 'Hotel-Commonwealth-Pub-Oz.im'.
Error: Texture 'lattice256.texture' is missing or could not be loaded for mesh 'Hotel-Commonwealth-Pub-Oz.im'.
Error: Texture 'balustrade.texture' is missing or could not be loaded for mesh 'Hotel-Commonwealth-Pub-Oz.im'.

Error: Texture 'balustrade.texture' is missing or could not be loaded for mesh 'Hotel-Commonwealth-Pub-Oz.im'.
Error: Texture 'night/nightcomm.texture' is missing or could not be loaded for mesh 'night\night.im'.

How on earth can I fix these?! It's so frustrating to have great content like this being faulty. :(
Looking forward to your new locos Vinny! :D

Cheers! :)

Jake.

As said before they are 'Rock Shale' witch is built into 2010 and uses speedtree...

I found a way to down the lag slightly...a section of housing has been removed in way for a cattle raceway...This is now a cattle town as well as a grain pass through...:D

The cattle may be gone, but the smell lingers on, and on and...and I don't have a problem with it, maybe because I was a country boy for much of my younger life :)

Hi rbar_164,

Try Trailer Stockcrate kuid2:97008:29421:1, 29422:1, 29974:1, 29975:1.
There are about 40 different trailers under my kuid.
They are 04 made and are 10 compatible.

Made some pubs and houses also.

Cheers,

Bill.

Looks good Mulie. Just curious how you're going for framerates with that?? Whenever I venture down the speedtree path, it brings my PC to its knees.

I know it's not quite kosher, but I find I lose the errors with VB's content, when I convert the im meshes to pm. Thing is, it has to be done via explorer... and this will end up providing progressive mesh warning. Naturally it has to be reflected in the config file.

If done in Content Mangler, it will give you an error (??).

I don't understand it... but it works.

yeah I'm doing that now but I can't seem to find many I like... Though I have decided to redo 1st and 2nd Streets to add more of your amazing pubs, hotels and shops :)

In some parts, the framerate is smooth, in others, it has a bit of a tantrum, but was more an experiment in something to give people eye-candy, rather than something that'd be released - its just a two board forest, with single line, bi-directional running, so nothing fancy.
