Pete, looking good so far. You going to take a break after this one, or do you have more planned?

@Forest & Mulie, first class shots as always.

Matt.

at the moment, I have 4 locos going. thats the lowest number I have had in over a year, although 2 of the locos are built the mesh was done by billegulla and I am "kit bashing them into an SAR 700 class and an SAR 750 class so they will be pretty quick might squeeze a 710 out of it as well.

The other one is a VR loco Then I might twist an appropriate arm and redo the 57 and 58 class locos. So no, I had'nt thought about a break, I enjoy what I am doing and I'm having fun and thats what it's all about isnt it?

@Trainz 89, good to see you are building your own stuff.

cheers

Wow! You sound busy. It's a wonder you ever get time away from Trainz, let alone your computer!:eek:

As long as you're having fun, I suppose that's all that really counts.

Although, it does have to be said, that without the talent, dedication and extremely hard work of people such as yourself, the Australian Trainz scene would be that much poorer.

Keep up the great work for as long as it gives you pleasure, but do try and remember that there is an outside world, away from Trainz and the PC.

Cheers,

Matt.

The VR loco may be the one i sent off a request for

aaah, no it's not, sorry that a way off yet:o

OK the Above SAR 720 class loco is available in content release announcements over at Victrainz. You MAY NEED ( not shouting, emphasizing) dependencies.

cheers
Pete

the second delivey version of the SAR 720 loco or 720b with skirts is now also at victrainz content release announcements. You will have to download the first delivery model for the bogies and tender

cheers

Very very early WIP of another fictional NSWGR modular designed route, this one, is a little more 'complicated', but stays true to the overgrown/almost abandoned branch line, home of my beloved 48 Class.

Cairns Tilt Train?

Hey Everyone!

So today I saw the Cairns Tilt Train powering north through Virginia, at about 1:30pm or so. Obviously, there's service alterations because of the flooding, but according to Queensland Rail, all Cairns Tilt Train services were cancelled completely. Does anyone have any information on where this one was going, and why?

It was definately the diesel Tilt Train - the powercars are non-mistakable. :hehe:

Thanks!

Forest, Sorry for not replying to your email. I have been taking a break from the Trainz world to settle into a new job this past week. Some wonderful Camden line styled screenshots. You have captured the essence of Pansy  Nice seeing a 41 class appear again. They are a much neglected class in the trainz world, with only two (4102 and 4104) correctly represented in the trainz world. As a matter of fact, I see you used engines that saw service on the Camden line in both shots. 3071 complete with electric headlight, a requirement for working the branch and 4104 with additional radiators. How would you feel about splitting the scenic work on Camden. I'll make the man-made scenery, if you would be willing to do the natural scenery?

Michael, like with Forest, apologies for not replying your email as well. I look forward to seeing your QGR "Sunshine" coaches and the BVL. If you wish to lend a hand on the Camden line project, you are more than welcome to by me. I've got all the rollingstock required for the Camden line on my build list, or already in game. If you would like you can help with some of the structures along the route.

Pete, the 720 looks magnificent. Perhaps you may be willing to assist me with the Camden project. I am looking at making the other 8 members of the 41 class available for Trainz and I am wondering if I could use your body mesh for the loco as a base and modify it accordingly. I would then send the modified version back to you to upload under your KUID if you so wish. Drop me a PM with your reply.

Now for an update. I've done a bit of work in Gmax and am working on what I hope is a reasonable representation of the platform at Elderslie. There is still a good amound of work to be done, and I will keep you posted. Most of this is guesstimation from photos.

Kind regards to you all,
Evan.

Nice start to the platform, I'm always eager to find new and interesting things to add to my growing collection of small, modular NSWGR themed routes, and that could be just the ticket.

An update on my growing 'Work in progress' - preliminary scenery placement/texturing has commenced, with the following results.

Gladstone. One of the RTT sets is apparently stuck in Rocky. So it's a case of finding whatever rollingstock is available.

Hi all,

Been lurking in the background alot lately. Work has me way to busy to be doing much, but its great to see the quality of the Aussie screen shots forums.

Muliebuck, you sir are the Vincent Van Gogh of Trainz. (With both ears) I rather enjoy all your modular routes and like collector cards for kids, I always have to have them all.

Forest, Simply STUNNING work from you sir. It amazes me to see a few shots from you and think that's just the best stuff, and then you come out and top it again the following day. My hat is off to you sir.

Everyone else, Its a joy to come and spend time in this forum. Keep up the great work all.

Cheers

Trent

Very nice patchy, I particularly lke the 'water droplets' on the camera, nice touch - I'm a railway photographer when I get the time, but i'm not THAT dedicated to the cause :)

Time to switch states - how about a small rural-themed branchline for the Victorians?....

Hi All
Just a note, I've just uploaded the rusty tracks to the DLS. Should be available in the next few days.

Enjoy :)
