Wow, couple of amazing batches of Cityrail screenshots there, well done guys!

Also of interest, someone attempted to break into my account last night, so if you see me posting a little strangly, please contact me via e-mail. I've changed my password, even though they were unsuccessful.

Hiballer
Yeah normally it is but with the spirit and magic of Christmas anything is possible, Merry Christmas Hiballer have a good one.

Thanks, Ghosty. You have a good one also. One of these days I'll have to post some more shots from our joint AUS/US effort at the Beechy.

Bill - nah mate, that's just Melbourne! It's true about it being "four seasons in one day". Fantastic city to visit, but bring all kinds of clothing, no matter what the weather "should" be. I've worn four layers in the middle of spring, and cooked myself in the sun in late autumn. I dread a Melbourne winter, so I stay up here in NSW (which has crazy weather too, but usually over a whole day or two).

We have places like that also. I used to live in Boulder, Colorado. The saying there was: "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute and it'll change". Living right under the mountains like that can make weather jump down on the town with scarcely any warning at all. I've been on picnics in August up in the mountains and been snowed on. Of course, we were at 10,000 feet (3048M) at the time.

Middle of January - 4 degrees at Ballarat... I'll never forget that!!

Also, I was wondering if there are any stand-alone crossings signs (with flashing lights), similar to the built-in "XING 1 Lights", "XING 2 Lights", etc, but instead of the traditional crossbucks, featured the more modern 'red square' style crossbucks like those used in Queensland?

If anyone knows of any, this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Mitch
