Magnificent Forest Runner, that shot would make a nice tapestry....if one was so inclinedRandom shot featuring NSWGR Parcels Express... and yes the SAR loaned three 830's to the NSWGR in the 1970's (847, 848, 849).

Like a special request of mine.I told you that other things were in the queue and that I have to clear them first, I'm a bit fed up with locos ATM and just doing quick simple things. Last count I have one new(720) and 3 rebuilds(z26,c32(various)d57/d58) as well as numerous passenger and freight stock gathering dust and thats not all of it, so dont hold your breath
Do you mean these three railmotors? What I would really like to do a quick job on is the railmotor(s) that RVR used to run.
BTW, does anyone have good side on shots (both side of loco and tender, preferably separately? cab shots etc front on of VR Y112, it would be a real help
Timo,Callum, I suggest looking towards paying a visit to the ARHS museum At Williamstown. Although it is currently closed, there is hope to have it re-opened mid next month.
Cheers
Timo

Wonderful shot Forest; absolutely magnificent! Love the sky; very atmospheric.
As for the locos, didn't we take delivery of them at the head the IP, then return them dead attached on a freighter?:hehe:
God love NSW:hehe:
Matt.
Regarding the SAR locos via IP delivery, I'm pretty sure the Mustard Pot 600's came to NSW that way. Not sure how the 830's were delivered.
you really should be saying this to Pete
Matt, over the year you've been posting shots, your shots have increased by ten-fold! Great work!
Jamie
Eh, what do i know?
Anyway, haven't posted shots for a while, due to a bit of a dry spell, creativity-wise. I just haven't been able to get any routes going lately; all that I've started have ended up on the scrapheap, never to return.
Matt.
Over the last couple of days, however, i have slowly been able to build up a small, single-board town. It doesn't have the detail that Tanvaras or Forest_Runners' routes do, but i'm just happy that i was able to get it to where it is!
I think that with a little more time and effort, it could have a higher level of detail, but at the moment, i'm happy with it the way it is.
Matt.
Don't be too fussed with details. This part should come last anyway. My 6 main things:
1. Don't feel rushed to have to show your work.
2. Don't feel rushed to upload it.
3. Do bits and pieces when it suits you.
4. Try not to set yourself rigid timeframes to have it done.
5. It's a hobby... not a chore.
6. Be encouraged by others here on the forums.
