I did, I told you that other things were in the queue and that I have to clear them first, I'm a bit fed up with locos ATM and just doing quick simple things. Last count I have one new(720) and 3 rebuilds(z26,c32(various)d57/d58) as well as numerous passenger and freight stock gathering dust and thats not all of it, so dont hold your breath.
Hi Stan, I thought all the drawings were in the uni library at newcastle, who have a great index for requests, but never respond. What I would really like to do a quick job on is the railmotor(s) that RVR used to run.

Callum, I suggest looking towards paying a visit to the ARHS museum At Williamstown. Although it is currently closed, there is hope to have it re-opened mid next month.

I love that sky... it's become my favourite.
Regarding the SAR locos via IP delivery, I'm pretty sure the Mustard Pot 600's came to NSW that way. Not sure how the 830's were delivered.
I wish we had some 600's in Trainz (no that's not a gimme pig hint either!!).

Anyway, haven't posted shots for a while, due to a bit of a dry spell, creativity-wise. I just haven't been able to get any routes going lately; all that I've started have ended up on the scrapheap, never to return.
Over the last couple of days, however, i have slowly been able to build up a small, single-board town. It doesn't have the detail that Tanvaras or Forest_Runners' routes do
, but i'm just happy that i was able to get it to where it is!
I think that with a little more time and effort, it could have a higher level of detail, but at the moment, i'm happy with it the way it is.

Same thing happens with most of my stuff. I have a total of 2 routes (and modular ones they are at that!!) on the DLS, from about 12,452 started!!... over a period of about 9 years. It's a disgrace!!... really I'm hopeless.

Don't be too fussed with details. This part should come last anyway. My 6 main things:
1. Don't feel rushed to have to show your work.
2. Don't feel rushed to upload it.
3. Do bits and pieces when it suits you.
4. Try not to set yourself rigid timeframes to have it done.
5. It's a hobby... not a chore.
6. Be encouraged by others here on the forums.
I also find having a couple... but not too many... side projects can break up the monotony as well. This has been the key to me progressing on my Flinders Plains route... face it, the outback is **** boring to model.
I try to get some task done each day... even if it is as little as placing a tree or a car or a person. Might seem small, but it is progress. Sometimes a break is good... have a few days away from the sim completely.
That's about all I can recommend from the way I look at it, but I'm sure others will have their own ways.

Mattm, excellent shots mate. You improve every time you post sceenies.
To keep motivated can be a chore at times. But stick with it once u get a few boards down and see it taking shape, I find I get really inspired. But at the same time you need to take time away from your project as well or you can burn out fast.
I myself have been alot slower on posting screen shots nowdays due to spending more time working on my route and never seem happy to post many shots as I myself are not happy with them as most times the area is not finished, though I still try and post something once a week if possible to keep myself sharing some of my progress with others.
Keep at it Mattm, I myself look forward to checking out your route (Once you are done at your timeframe, never rush it)
To everyone else who psted lately, simply awesome stuff folks. Its always a pleasure to come and spend an hour or so browsing the Aussie screenshot posting.
