@the_big_man, did you or were you ever thinking of making a coal version of your wheat hoppers?

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Yeah mate I am planning to make the coal version of the NGHF hoppers (the NHHF) one of these days, however they are further down on my to-do list at the moment.

By the way love those Main North/Hunter shots, I had no problem recognising the locations :udrool: !

Nice screens everyone! Some great work being shown! :D

Cheers,

Matt

3830, loved those screenshots of the SMR from Maitland to the junction and whatnot. Problem is, those are NHVF's! Those would DESTROY the track. May as well run a couple of 90 class down there as well? :).

We need some 76t gross hoppers to run on the Pelton line to Austar - NHTF wagons will do fine. Of course, they have to look beaten up and life expired before we can use them! Although, The CWS NHVF hoppers don't like anything like the ones running around in PN service - for starters, they don't fall off the rails!

Matt - good luck making the NHHF hoppers. Had a play with the CQBY wagons in Trainz, and was blown away - they look better than the real thing!

Thanks Trent! Glad you liked them! :) I may have a crack of making the NHTF's if I could obtain some detail photos of them.

Cheers,

Matt

Same here with the wagons Matt. Your creations are pimp!! Im 14 and i use my own language, and pimp means GREAT!!! And whats this talk of a CityRail route?? I have never been to NSW, Might be in August-October but that would awesome!! What about a TransPerth route?? I was in W.A the other week and am looking forward to the new TransAdelaide Electrified Railcars, supposedly identical to Perth's B Series

Thanks, SARRailways :D:):D:)

NSW_maddog, great shot with the 49 and the field!

The NHTF hoppers are ex CTS hoppers, 76t gross. One or two rakes are based out of Newcastle for SMR line work behind 48 class, and at least one rake is worked out of Inner Harbour to the Lithgow area.

http://www.nswrollingstock.com/CTS.htm

Matt - Flicked through my photos and found these, so I uploaded them. I'll try to grab detail shots next time I see that rake. I'm becoming a bit of a wagon gunzel...

I saw them again at Canterbury late last week going west, but it was dark and wet and the train was moving quickly, so couldn't get any photos of the wagons themselves.

Dan - well done mate, glad you could do what nobody else could! There was talk about PN using double X Class on the train instead of/as well as 48 class, but that hasn't seem to have gone ahead... Not that I mind, I like seeing 48 class leading a train!

Now to bring some balance to the forums. Been testing Ipswich in 2010 to see how it looks and feels. Also testing some new modifications, I would like to thank Greg Cash for supplying the drivers and allowing me to modify his C-17 wheelsets to 3f6i and to PEV for making the modifications for me.

C-17 974 fresh from overhaul blasts out of Ipswich with set 26.

any one like to try and build these

I need some one with a good route building kills to make

lithgow to bathurst

culcairn to albury

parkes to broken hill

bathurst to dubbo

orange to parkes

any one could try and make albury to melburne route

new one i will ask for dont know if any one will help me i might be asking for too much but i like to have things moving abit sorry to sound rough i dont want to but i love train routes.

Yass branch from east Galong to Gunning east just before Goulburn set at the high below even if u want to add goulburn in it and the route can be basic no tree and buildings but needs to be a land scape of the area as it is real life or just around that.

One more adding i would liek to share these files to all trainz user when built and they will all be join together or just the route you want to have joined i will be making a few sort ones my self but iam not that good but you guys just have to judge me on that one once i upload them iam trying to make the stockinbingal to temora line but its taking a bit iam still at stockinbingal atm been 2 weeks

and if there any route other then listed please tell me all about it or then thanks again i have started to try cootamundra to temora but if any one can make one too please let me know as iam no good at making any route right lol

just one more thing

any one heard about the sydney routes still going ahead ?

i know theres a far north coast route under way atm and its going to be a good one

please note these route have to be at the hight setting 380.76 or 420.76

A few screenshots of QR Rockhampton which should be finished and available before the DLS deadline. This will be for TRS2006 only and maybe a TS2010 version later. Have dropped all other projects to complete this and some more trees and buildings for this route. Uses NZ Classic cars Region. Thanks to RMs by PEV and Dreddman these make prototypical local passenger possible now. Nice job from these guys.

Maybe you're asking for a bit too much do you think mate? Ever thought of perhaps trying to make something for yourself? These are fairly big routes to casually ask people to make.

i know but its not a force ment order is it no mate its up to them if they want to do them or not i am trying my self but need tips on how to easy do land scapeing same as google earth u have any ideas iam trying to work out the way they use mapping ioline to do there routes valleys and hills and every thing

Raichase - Thanks mate for the photos,

Kane98 - Thanks for the link, it is a very useful site!

Thanks to everyone else for the kind words :)

Cheers,
