Hiballer did it, I'm still trying to catch up. When you see the map area from Colac to Crowes it covers a lot of ground.

We aim to make it as close as possible to the way it was around 1945. No anachronisms like men with dayglo yellow work clothes.

@ stanb, well that was interesting, the P6 class and early 32's had the graceful slope on the foot plate according to R Prestons book, the later 32's had the direct slope So I will change the footplate on the 32 that I showed although I wonder whether it is really worth it as the one illustrated is applicable to both types of loco.

cheers

Looking forward to seeing that route of yours Axe, need somewhere to run the 620s and all the NSW locos. Your route looks fantastic.

it may well have been a simplification made to the later batches of P's (tho I cant be sure), but certainly it seems was applied generally to the class during the later rebuilds/ reframing - and most seem to have sported the direct slope footplate by the end of their service

As you say, tho, probably not worth the effort - tis a very minor detail ... you could be having more fun doing alternate liveries instead ( and since you have got 1709's colour pretty close, you could easily do 3265 in its current state, and 3214 in an early 1970's preservation scheme, and thats before you start playing with the 1930s green ones as well :) )

or jusr leave one in standard broadmeadow livery ...http://www.pbase.com/stanb/image/99609431 :P
