Very nice Nick.

As yet no photos, but Craig's baby has arrived (Seeseeme), just in time for the weekend.
He reckons no sleep tonight!.
He'll be busy feeding him. :D

Hopefully later he may get online & tell us more. :udrool:
But he seems overly pleased & may need restraints & medication to calm him down a bit.
Seismologists were noticing recordings of tremors of excitement & shouts of glee, from the NSW South Coast region. :hehe:

For those who don't know, Craig has been looking forward to receiving delivery of his new PC for a few weeks now.

Congratulations Craig!

All you need is just a old SAR RX class coupled with Centenary Carriage's and your set! :hehe:

Hi everyone,

As Noel said, my new computer has finally arrived :Y::clap::Y::clap:

So far I am installing programs and swapping content over from the old computer. I can not wait until I have everything up and running especially 2010 and then see its full potential.

Not sure if anyone wants to see photos as Noel suggested but if some do just post and I will put some in a post for you. I am actually about to take some mainly for insurance purposes.

Biggest problem at the moment is working out how to use Windows 7 (64bit Pro) properly, its a bit different :hehe:. Installing old XP programs has so far gone OK including my old Age of Empire games, the advice on this forum has helped a lot with that.

Many thanks to anyone here who my have contributed to threads about installing programs in Windows 7, it is much appreciated.

Craig

Windows 7 is great Seeseeme, very stable and runs nice. Yes, it takes a bit of time to get used to the changes but there are some really awesome features.

Hi there

I must correct you on one thing with this post. Yes, the cockle train is great. I help out with SteamRanger, as my Grandmother is the roster lady. I worked in the shop during that period and SteamRanger does not have a SAR 830 Class. SteamRanger has a SAR 500 Class, 507, a SAR 930 Class, 958, SAR Brill Railcar 60 with a new Brill being constructed to hopefully be complete by late 2011 to early 2012. RedHen Railcars, 412, 428, 364, 824, recently acquired 424, and 435. RX Class, 207 and 224, 520 Class, 520, SAR 620 Class, 621, SAR F CLass, F251, and many other great carriages and freaight wagons. Im sorry to post so much, Im just hinting at possible makings for TRS 2009 and onwards in the future ;) ;) ;) ;)

Thanks, SAR Railways :):D

You see some really nice shots from 2009 and 2010. Here is one from the old tired 2004, still able to please users. I call it "The Yard" taken in the heyday of steam.

Hi folks,

Had my HDD fry last week and have had alittle luck with a few files being recovered. A few screenies from a salvaged fictional route I tinkering with on and off.

Local morning run

More to come if I can salvage more of this route from my fried HDD.

Nice screens all! :)

Pete, looking forward to that 421 with great anticipation! :D

Just letting everyone know that the 3rd series CQBY's will be available on the DLS this arvo, as will the QR CRT 30ft containers, which will be available as a product and also as a scenery item.

Thanks to all the beta testers who helped out! :)

We have broken the route into three parts for ease of building. We've each taken one part. It will be stuck back together before we release it. It runs from Colac all the way to Crowes. As Peter says, we are targeting the mid 1940's.
