IIRC they had some errors, not hard to fix though, after which they should work... either that or you're missing some dependencies... ie, its working fine in 12 on my end :)

Holla all

How's it going. I was just wondering if someone could very kindly help me out. I have downloaded gregcash's BB18 1015 and 3 C17's and was wondering how I could set or change the destination board. I have downloaded C17 956 and wan't to change the destination board as it is blank. Could anyone help me out with this. Nice shots coming along to guys.

I for one will not be helping you, you've caused enough trouble and I'm not the forgiving type...

...and with the reactivation of my photobucket account, I decided to test out the new editing functions. I have to say, I am left quite impressed :D

hehe, me too :hehe: Wish photobucket would get rid of that stupid auto-resizing of new uploads, my images look better at the size they were taken!

I disagree - people would still come here for support and besides, this thread gets the most attention with Aussie Trainz Players/hobbyists, and the support given in the subforum would be lower due to less people. I think that makes sense

Funny enough I also agree with your point of view. Maybe not so strict on the non screen capture posts and tolerate the discussions just as much?

But we still strongly encourage screen capture posts as they stimulate the discussion. A case in point is those diesel B class screen captures posted today. Some know it all poster (pester) may incorrectly claim the high profile diesels were not used on general goods but similar NSW 44 class were and one of my Brian Webber written ARHS Qld books has a picture of English Electric 1207 cab car body diesel electric on a Collinsville branch line goods train from Bowen on New Years Day 1966.

The goods and passenger rolling stock in Stevo's screen capture just look right. :D (PS, we older folk used to call freight trains goods trains).

destination board as it is blank
look in the loco body folder and find the texture or part of the texture that is applied to the face of the desto board, if it is an electronic board find a font on the web or do it dot by dot in psp or similar and draw the destination name you are after save as a non compressed TGA in the loco body folder and it should work. If it is a board on the front of the loco with the train name on it, I'm not familiar with QR practice but a photo of the original cropped and resized would be your best bet. As this would be a reskin you could not release it without the authors permission and he may not give it as it has not been significantly altered it.

EDIT you may also find that in surveyor when adding the loco to the track, look in loco properties or whatever its called by right clicking the loco, the part where you can switch on windscreen wipers etc, Greg may have the ability there to type in the name for the desto board

Are you runing the the Spirit of Progress in TS 2010 Zec cause it doesn't work in TS12, not for me anyway.

Hi Steve
I'm running it in TS12. If the carriages had any errors, then I would have fixed them to get it running. :)

I've never had any Errors Steve, are you using the old ones from 2004 or the newer ones under the VicTrainz (1854) KUID?

Stevo I'm not going to bother with a response to your screenshot, it's just perfect

OK OK fine rbar but I do remember us dropping the subject.

Thought I'd have a play as well... though the site with its level and frequency of pop-ups/advertising has really gone down hill. Again... just a play... first experiment if you like.

The resizing problem is worse, you can download an ad blocker...

Hi All,
Thought i'd dust off me Mt Isa route with an early morning ARHS Tour at Rifle Creek

Cheers,
Patchy

Hey Patch - I think some updated vegetation is needed. Not having a dig at all (you're one of the best and most talented route builders here!). I know it's the program version compatability - or lack thereof.

The resizing problem is worse, you can download an ad blocker...

Stevo - Really weird that. I don't get resizing issues. Last time I downloaded an ad blocker, came with some nice malware as well - like I can't win.

I digress - back to trainz/shots - I love the last shot best. Was that planned/set-up, or just an incidental "Print Screen" moment?

That's like art, having the crane in the foreground and the old semaphore near-to-centrally located. They way you have the track and associated shubbery is just the icing on the cake. A really stunning shot that one!

Well, I pause and put the camera where I like it... Are you using the older version of photobucket? you could disable the auto-resize there, but the editing wasn't so good...
