Australian screenshots

Oh Wow a screenshot thread
Better post one

This one is for Petan
With quote from Rod Milne

"Where trendy bistros and units now flourish,
1772 is south of the dalgety loop running along Macquarie st,
Passing Goldbrough wool stores in the last weeks of the Nambour To New Farm bulk sugar traffic
The loco is hauling empties back from the CSR Sugar Refinery on the 22nd October,1988"

Patchy that shot is awesome matey. Have you got any more shots of that yard? I'd say that's the most realistic "track only" rails submerged into the concrete i've seen so far in Trainz.

Would like to see more buddy.

Yep Patchy has done it again. You always make a good shot Patchy no doubt about it. I have a quistion for you guys. I have downloaded one of gregcash's C17's and wan't to change the destination on the destination board. How do I do that.

-Cheers

Hi Dimi,
It's the Newstead Branch in Brisbane she is long gone now
This one will be for Shunt Enthusiasts
Quite small about 5kms in lenght but with plenty to do
Wharves,Woolstores,Sugar Refinery,Power Station,Sawmills and plenty of sidings to service
Doing the finishing touches now

Cheers,
Patchy

Patchy/c38nsw - apologies.

After getting all of the content for Ghosty's beta testing projects and Narrowgauge's latest Darjeeling version and associated content, my database shat itself. Only just back in action, but gee I hate how Content Mangler cripples your whole program when this happens... Grrrrr :n:

Hey Forest,
Whats the track side grass you using
and always 10 out of 10 with your screenshots

Cheers,
Patchy

@Patch - hope you're well.

The trackside splines are a pair of reskinned JVC splines by the user Tram_ with the following kuids:
- kuid 400260:100209 (middle green colour)
- kuid 400260:100205 (light green colour)

By the way your own shots are awesome. I love your representation of urban rail... we don't get much of that in Australian screenshots. Please post more!!

Forest Runner, What track are you using there?

Cheers Cameron

@c38nsw - nice loco class ;)

The track is by the user Samplaire. He has a ton of stuff labelled "SAM track" with different variants. Not sure what region specific (US maybe) the track is but I like the look of it for main or heavier tracked lines. Associated kuids I have on my PC are:

- kuid 132952:100545
- kuid 132952:100560 (rusty version of same track).

Like I said there's a ton of it you, or anyone here, may like to explore. If you do, please post some shots of it!

@Ghosty - now I'm operational again, I'll get stuck into it. Have all the content and only had to repair (minor) a handful of items.

Thanks Mick. Work on the TS2012 version is slow. It is almost finished, but I have been having a hard time focusing on Trainz at the moment. Hopefully when it is released it meets your expectations.

Okay less talk more screenshots ;)

Sue and I compared your screen capture with the original scan we emailed and we were amazed at the extreme closeness of the screen shot with the scan we sent, as we were with Bill's wool store creation in the background!! We used to go there occasionally when Paddies Markets were there.

Bill and Patchy, they look like the real thing :D

EDIT; Sue just pointed out the screeny was not an exact copy as she realised you had personalized it nicely!

Stevo and Axe!

Whoaaaa my lord.
Absolutely stunning work.

Stevo, i like how you elevated the ground up so the sleepers disappear to mimic more rocks in one section. Now that's what i call attention to detail.

Axe i love that shot with the 422's in the shed. That double header of Indian Red 422's takes me back to the early 80's watching a pair of 422's shunt in Rozelle yard.
Ahhh

Thanks for that Forest
Axe,very nice use of the light;)
Rbar, your shot has that old world feeling if that makes sense:eek:
Keep them rolling on

Petan, the shot was not quite in the right spot, just could not get the right angle
because of a fence

Cheers,
Patchy

Couldn't say it better myself. I support the responsible, screenshot-posting members of this forum, and so I have reported that post as well. As for the screenshot...

A bit of classic SAR action.
