Jamie

Hi Jamie,
The buildings are woolstores
Willem2 has made them for me to go with this project i'm currently working on
They will be uploaded to the DLS when Willem2 gets around to it
I must say he has done a mighty fine job as usual;);)

Um, No I didn't ask for a PB15 trainz89, I actually said that I am a C17 fan and I am not to keen on PB15's but to see it looking like that makes me suprised. But, For my Beaudesert Branch Line route that I am creating at the moment I would take it as I have a picture of PB15 no. 444 on the old turntable at Beaudesert. Guys I am having a few problems downloading stuff of Download station. This is the first time I have downloaded stuff of download station but what happens is, I wen't to downoald the C17 974, so I right clicked it and pressed download. it said download and it said the amount of mb it had to go. after 30 minutes I returned to see if it had finished downloading but it still said "Downloading" but it said 218.0 mb of 218.o mb and I left it again for another 30 minutes and it didn't change so I wen't onto survour and wen't to try the C17 but it wasn't on there. If someone know's what I am doing wrong please tell me or can someon please tell me how to download stuff of download station. And also how long should it take for something to download of Download station?.

-Cheers

When 3801 got her new boiler it seems it was bigger than the old one and a few mods were made so that it would fit.
38101.jpg

All it needs now is a Candy repaint

WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU REPAINT 3801. Do you know how well know that loco is and it looks fine green, I think it soots the old bugger.

LittleBondi, have another look. 3801 is a pacific type of steamer, as noted by its 4-6-2 wheel arrangement. The screenshot is not a pacific!

YEAH YEAH very funny :n: , I don't know anything about that train I only know it is well known and it is in NSW. Could someone please answer my question about how long it should take for something to download of download station.

-Cheers

So it depends on what I am downloading ok How long should it take on average for something to download. and can someone please help me because I have been downloading this QR Esk station and it has one for an hour now downloaing and my eyes are just about o collapse an close.

Please don't do this...

...to clear a few things up, that 'engine' of which you know nothing about is not real, it is a photoshop creation (and a good one, I must say :P)

...as to how long your assets are taking to download you are either trying to download a very large item, your internet is just no good or you are just very impacient. It usually takes me about 3-5 mintues to download a 1MB asset...

Cheers

WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU REPAINT 3801

Dave occasionally repaints locos in all sorts of liveries, just to upset the purists, it's proven to be very effective in starting passionate debate in regard to inappropriate liveries. You should not get to upset, he only ever does it while waiting for ridiculously long times to download items from the dls :hehe::hehe::hehe:

cheers

Ok just to make things better, Now that I know 3801 is a fake He can repaint it all he wants. Gees is that really a photoshop? Because it is damn good. Second I have worked out my downloading problem, It is just what rbar_164 said. I was trying to download the QR Esk station and I even left it over night but it was still downloading, I came on this morning, stopped the download and instead started the QR kangaroo lever and it only took about 30 seconds. I am now downloading Greg Cash's "QR C17 974 v2". If anyone has downloaded this engine or something similar can you please tell me how long this should take. And about I am inpatient rbar_164, I am not impatient it wen't for 2 hours downloading and I wanted to go to sleep as it was 11:00pm.

LB,

Please don't take offence to this post, as a word of encouragement. In case you aren't aware, this is a screenshot thread! Your best bet would be to post your existing DLS/download problem in the appropriate part of the forum for eg; "Maintenance of Way - Support / DLS-FCT" as you will likely receive more responses from others that may be having similar issues.

Cheers ;)

something i can highly recomen is buying a first class ticket and the downloads hit like lightning, i can download one of vinny's 9mb locos in just 30 seconds :P
