@ Harry1986, an addition for your SCT fleet.

A couple of new drive-able Kenworth's in SCT and John Deere livery coming out soon, in right and left hand drive.
(Easy reskinable, and allowed).

Working on the static models now.

Cheers,

Bill.

Hi good people, I have a BIG favour to ask, about the new CSR Class. Who has seen it and who can confirm if the windows are tinted blue and if so, how much are these tinted. As on some pictures I have seen, there is a distinctive blue tint on these windows, sometimes more and deeper blue and sometimes none. Plus I need urgently some extra close up pictures which show details which those long range and sort of "train lover's" pictures taken normally do not show and which are possibly not yet on the internet. I have never seen this locomotives yet, hence I can only go by the pictures which are available, to create it.

Nothing wrong of anyone taking pictures of locomotives but from a creator's point of view, one needs for example 90 degrees side on pictures from which to scale the dimensions of a locomotive from. As there are NO drawings nor any other info is available of any recent Oz locomotive. Usually it is the length which is known, some 22 point something meters and that is about all.

So PLEASE, anyone who possibly has seen the CSR Class yet and/or who took pictures of it, I would very much like to know the above info, if possible. Young Mick (thanks a lot pal) has send me some beaut pictures taken with a telephoto lens, hence I have good roof details, some bogey details but not really enough of what is clearly under the platform from both sides. Plus a couple of good bogey pictures in detail and closeup would be nice. I know, pictures can only be taken when the CSR Class is mobile as there is normally no access to any SCT depot or yard or such to get close enough. I would like to make the CSR Class to the same standard as the SCT/LDP Classes are made by me.

I started today on it, as I wanted a break from the TT and other classes for a little while, here are some crude screenshots of the CSR Class. Remember, the CSR Class is sitting a bit higher and has a lot of room filled up under the platform and of course I haven't started with the bogies yet plus please ignore all the wrong things on these pictures:

Thank you very much in advance for any help given.

Cheers

Thanks Jason,

I must say that seeing your screenies of your route has given me motivation to build a route and taken a few ideas from your screenies as to what to build.

Cheers Harry

G'day Vinny!

Cheers for the compliment on my layout, big privilege to get a quote from you! :hehe:

I came face to face with two CSRs earlier this year, and I'd have to say there is a slight blue tinge to the windows.

Cheers!

Jake.
