Hi Matt,

That looks great!

May I ask where you got the station buildings from? I see a need for them.

Regards.

Thanks.

As Raichase says, the buildings are by AD602000; the larger is NSW A6 station bldg no sheds <kuid2:1854:1721:1>; the smaller one is NSW PC2 station bldg <kuid2:1854:1801:1>

Edit Just saw your sig, are you Vsetfan over at Railpage?

Matt.

Thanks for the show of support, Constructive criticism is always welcome but this was beyond genuine feedback. I had seriously contemplated just packing and withdrawing from the game. Being abused and degraded to me was not worth it. For the record Roma St and Ferny Grove Modules have been sent to several trusted testers and the reports they give are very promising for a release.

Letter From The Qld Commissioner Of Railways

G'day Everyone.

@Scott [Ghosty], since I am in a very generous spirit nowdays, and since you have been 'part of the house since it all began' :hehe: . Your going to get some of QGR's finest for your route. A Steph PB15, B18's, and my D17. I have a DD17 in the works, I have made some destination boards with greg cash using photograghs aswell just requires scripting. In a rare yet bold mood, all shall be in 3ft 6in. Just you got to do some converting of the drivers and loco to suit; I also have made a couple of period QR Standard Level Crossing Gates.

Mind if I beta test, please :)

I am on your side, always and forever. Mate.

Btw; @ Lenny, well that platform according to my information was removed in 1997. You can still see the remains on Google Images. Maybe your memory it getting the better of you.

With Regards

Good on ya Ghosty, hope you're okay. Don't let the worthless scum get to you. Failing that, I'm sure some of us boys over at RB could give him a talking to... :D

Wacol looks great! From where I live you could almost hit it with a rock. It's got the "look" down pat.

Cheers

Nice shots Ghosty, and don't let idiots get you down mate. Your work is always a pleasant sight when you post your shots. As with everyone else, we all wait with baited breath for your route.

Cheers

Somehow seems to have picked up a more modern set of hoppers behind it too :p

Hayden,

I would rather preffer the older and correct V, VR, VJ, & 1950's VJM Coal Hoppers with Always behind a CLV, BLV, CV or BV Van for that train. But if its for fun go for it.

Cricketstar.
It covers how Ipswich was prior to the early to mid 1970's. Yes Ipswich had one main platform for approx 100 years between 1875 and 1976 before it was rebuilt prior to the arrival of electrification. After the station was rebuilt the airspace was redeveloped with the current situation being in place since the mid to late 1970s.

Sorry if it sounded like a lecture but there would be a few that would not realize how Ipswich once looked, was just sharing a little information.

hello all,

I've just got a question for all to answer hopefully,

I've really become enthusiastic about making a line from Port Augusta through to Adelaide and up the hills to Tailem bend.

some asking and merging will be asked of the creators of some other sections i plan to use,

I have laid track from Coonamia (230kms north of Adelaide to as far as Nantawarra which 120 i think from Adelaide ).

I am seeking anyone who wishes to help with photos of certain spots that will make the layout look as real as can be,

The main issue that the line is missing is grades ( i can honestly not build any grades what so ever and would love a link to a tutorial of some sort or an explanation how to build some )

Please feel free to email me on squeekazoid5680 at gmail.com or PM me or post here upto you,

most of youy here have inspired me to do this and i thank you cause i wanted to run a train on the Northern line instead of driving to Lofty and back.

Hope to hear from someone soon :)

My handle or nick in here is lenice not Lenny thanks Mickey. And no, my feeble old mind is not failing me. What I said I stand by. It may have been removed in '97 but I do not remember it being there. I have just had a trip into Google earth and can't see any remnant of any platform there. I have shunted Ipswich yard numerous times as a Fireman and have also travelled to Toowoomba on numerous trains, more than I can recall of the top of my head. I don't appreciate being condecended to by someone who has no actual experience in Railways. I have been driving the suburban area for at least 10 years or more. This does not make me an expert but I do know a certain amount. THANK YOU.
I now return everyone else to their normally calm forum. Aploogies for any offence.

Chris, Maybe someone, somehow, slipped a Flux Capacitor on board. They are supposed to activate at 85 mph.

And I would rather prefer that my nickname be used in general conversation on this forum, Mickey. HBL, Mr Lynch or even Your Royal Highness if you want to go that far...

I would also prefer that you took my comment for the poke in fun that it was meant to be.

Cheers,
