Cheers.

These are on hold. I need some roofing and engine details and when I have the time to go to the National Rail Museum in Port Adelaide to take the required pictures of what I need to know, then I can/will finish the BlueBirds. As well as needing to know how the engine and drive gear looked underneath. These are the only things holding me up to finish them. I need to know exactly how the fans looked, whether these were exposed with the fan blades visible through a screen/grill/grid and the look of the whole console on top with the radiators in it. The pics I have seen are too vague to give me these details.

Re the VicRail look of the BlueBirds, yes, these can be accommodated once I get these needed details. Any special numbers or names of the various 100, 250, 280 Classes with the Vics? I can see a 811 number on one of the VicRail BBs there.

Cheers

Also Vinny, how far off are the 3000/3100 Class and the 2000/2100 Class railcars? And what are your creations after the SCT, Bluebirds going to be?

I am sorry for this little rant, but i feel it is necessary. But it has been brought to my attention that some little "So Called know it all" who is on this community has a problem with me but instead of talking directly to me has taken to slandering me behind my back calling me a liar and using degrading comments in regards to me and my work. I am battling depression and these comments have not helped me in anyway, The ride i have had with this battle with depression has not been an easy one and at times has seen me feeling extremely low.

I had mentioned prior that i was having personnel issues but had not wanted to mention the issue outright, but after being told what was said explaining to all that i had depression seemed to be the only way. It will be interesting to see if this person will take responsibility for their actions and do the right thing and forward an apology. Hitting someone while they are down and thats going through a rough time like i am with depression is in my opinion an extremely low blow.

Ghosty,

Sucks to hear that. Sorry to hear, first, that you're in a rough spot at the moment, and second, that somebody here has decided that talking behind your back is better than talking directly to your face.

I thought this community was better than that. Seems we aren't, after all.

If the little SOB hasn't apologized by the end of the weekend, name and shame. See if they can take a little of what they dish out.

Matt.

Sorry to hear Ghosty. If it's any consolation you're screenshots of Brisbane are magnificent. So spot on, its scary. :hehe: Unfortunately people can easily hide behind a computer monitor and say stuff that they would be to gutless to say in the real world. Keep up your amazing work cause Trainzers are going to absolutely love your Brisbane maps.

Aaaah, another of the QR Elite makes an appearance. Nice shots as expected, Ghosty. I really look forward to the day your labours become public.

As for the other stuff, you'll find it's just jealousy. You bring much to this community... through Trainz/TRS/TS, but more importantly as person with humility. Proof of that is through the pages of this very thread. Your post however, suggests you still possess a sense of humour ;)

I've flicked you a PM - no obligation to respond.

Take it easy, mate.

I have had the pleasure of seeing your Brisbane work for Beta testing (though some months ago now) and I can honestly say it is quite impressive. The route your doing is quite complex as anyone would know or guess and you have progressed with it to a high level of accuracy and detail.

You are proud of your work and so you should be, it is an excellent effort especially working by yourself on such a large project.

I would say forget the other person but I know that is not easy. Others may offer some suitable suggestions of what should/can be done though :hehe:

Hi Matt,

That looks great!

May I ask where you got the station buildings from? I see a need for them.

Regards.

They look like Pete's (ad602000) station buildings, if not on the DLS, then they should be on Victrainz. Should be "NSW Precast" or something similar.
