Australian screenshots

Tsk, running the heritage garrat on like THAT old and rusty? How far you get Patchy? Three feet before she ended up in the dirt? No, seriously - as always, some wonderful screenshots - truly inspirational, and maybe just what I need to get serious about surveyor again :)

You are a cheeky bugger Bear :hehe:

Cheers
Rod

Ahh, thats funny about the 81's... Patchy, nice shots, too. I am yet to download your route... bit slack, aye...

Furthermore, I'm rather thirsty...

Hmm... Most silos are pretty generic Jack. Perhaps just search "silo" on the DLS? There's some silos that (I think?) are called Westdale Silos on the DLS. They look pretty good.

Just a shot from me... I haven't posted any in a while.

Not bad, Mitchey. I hope for your sake though, that that was a 'posed' shot, organised and overseen by railway officials, and not just the result of a little trespass:eek::(

Safety first, people! But seriously, not a bad shot.

Matt.

Edit: Jackford2009, could you please use the search function on the forums/DLS to find answers to your questions? It's not that hard to type in 'silo; wheat; grain' or similar to find what you want. While it shows some 'ingenuity' on your part, i doubt anyone who frequents the Dutch Screenshots forum will be able to help answer your question. What were you thinking, honestly?

Hahaha, Matt! It was most definately staged. The train wasn't even moving when I took that. :hehe:

It was just a little route I was playing about with, but it needs heaps of work. It looks dodgy to me.

Nice looking work there as usual Scott. Just in case you hadn't noticed, I'd get the MRD out to relay the road leading to the crossing. Looks like a bit of a gap opening up near the maze on the left side of the picture.
Keep them coming, more to put on the desktop.

Glen

Daniel,

I must say that after seeing your work for so long, it really makes me want to get my backside off the chair, get my progress on all my Aussie works shipped over here and get stuck into them. I just wish I wasn't so distracted those years ago to make those models for the Hunter route.

I can't say that I've seen a more realistic nor recognisable Aussie route showcased. Please don't hesitate to show us more!

Maitland is looking amazing. Brings back memories of a few pubs down there a few years back :p

It is scary how accurate Maitland is in your screenshots - right down to that random palm tree that doesn't look like it belongs there, until you see it sticks out like a sore thumb even in real life! That kind of detail is what makes a prototypical route great - something you wouldn't miss if it was omitted, but the fact is that you see it and remember it and think "wow, that's accurate".

Well done Daniel, looking schmick!

i agree daniel has done well the only thing that is missing is the flood gates with those it would be the iceing on the cake. well done Daniel.

Hi Trainzerz!!!!

I would like to thank everyone on their fantastic screenshots. I am sad that I cannot post my own screenshots. I think I know the solution. In that little box in the bottom left corner of the forums page, it says that I cannot post attatchments. Is this the reason why?? If not I give up.

Thanks, SARRailways :):D:):D

 hi SARRailways
That has nothing to do with screenshots.
you need the code from the web Picture site you are useing to paste in to the forums.
