Thanks Rod, would be interested to hear what Zec did ?

Cheers

Actually, I had to 'revert' the meshes. I have had this issue with a model of mine before, it was related to a material setup... Actually, what material name are you using for the 'normals mapped' textures? I think I may have just realised it.

My attempted fix was to use PEV's pm2im tool. Unfortunately, the whole mesh disappeared... Or varying bits of it. I had hoped that the issue Rod was seeing was an oddity (in particular after other discussions that night, and my own tests in TRS2006 showing no issues).

Send me a PM, so we can maybe continue this 'off the forums' :) Keep this thread devoted to screenshots :)

Seeing some great pics lately, keep it up people.

Raichase, i love that sunset. It looks beautiful, and really makes that scene brilliant. 10/10 for the shot.

Matt.

Disclaimer: Not Prototypical

Just showing these guys can work (mostly!) in TS2010. Quite fiddly, but it paid off.

In my opinion these were up with the most awesome Aussie locos available for TRS 2004/2006.

El Zorro are famous for some rather interesting loco combinations on their AWB trains. C501, T-Iforgot, GM27 and S303 combine to work an up grain service through Richmond, with 40 AWB hoppers in tow.

Thanks for that, this is another shed I once had in 2004 now it is built-in in 2010 and explains why I can not find it in my list of transferred content from 2004.

I have been looking for sheds like this for sometime as part of my planning of a layout that may take a long time to build. Every time I see something that will suit my needs, I place it in the area where I plan to use it. In the future I will get around to that part of the route and place them properly.

Many thanks for the help guys.

Are these loco correctly gauged at 3ft6in?

Bill.

Hi Bill,

I do have the correctly gauged 3'6" gauged prototypical models, but the pictured models are the SG variation for Trainz/TRS. Despite, having them for years now, I've never actually used the SG version prior to now.

My sacreligious post was basically to show one can get the M/MA models to work (mostly!) in TS2010 with some effort.

NSW_Maddog, you're 100% forgiven for sharing that awesome screenshot of the scrap yard, as well as the cement works. Looking good!

First its QGR Commissioner, then when someone last week posts from South Australia its CEO SAR NOW its GWR Dist Sup. I'd wager if some one posted from the Kingdom of Whoop Whoop, South side of the creek on the outskirts of Back of Bourke, you'd be in charge of that too Michael ??
Pick ONE and try managing that.

Hi Glen Michael & crew,

Methinks that would be Dean guys. :)
He lives out near there someplace.
Sorry couldn't find one of these little blokes with an Akubra Dean.

C Class Probelms

i have tried everything to try and fix the problem. i tried direct X instaed of OGL. slideing the poly count right up to the top but nothing seems to work.:( and they also won't work on 09 becuase the cabs don't use LOD meshes so the C classes won't even work in 09. it is just real annoying.
:(
thanks

Hi All
An update will be sent to the DLS tonight for the C class locos. However, they will be only for TS2009+, since the mesh issues are not easily fixed for 06.

Some users should be able to get them to work in 06, as a few of us have already. These users will be able to use the FTP links on the DLS to download the currently available versions.

For those with TS2009+, the cabs will show a 'warning' (yellow '!' icon), and no errors. These items can be used in-game. If it is showing an 'error' (red '!' icon), then open it for edit, then commit. This should clear most errors.

I will look into possibly clearing that warning tonight as well, see how that goes... If it works, then the update will include it.

Bill
They were payware and you get both versions :D
that is NG and SG :hehe:
They are absolutely fantastic
I believe approaches have been made to see if we can get these upgraded and released for 2010. Now wouldn't that be something?
Cheers

Hey All
I've got a faulty dependency for the new C's Davido just released

It's errors and warnings are
Error: The Tag 'scale' is not permitted within a container of type 'flowsize'.

Anyone get that?? It's with all C's(VR Vline and Silverton)
