Australian screenshots

Davido,

I dont really like sparks but I have a soft spot for the train I have travelled on so mannnny times. Those V sets look so life like, you have done very well recreating the stainless steel bodies and fibreglass cab front moulds.

It gets a 9/10 from me as I dont know how it runs yet! :hehe:

Very impressed mate, keep up the great work. :mop:

Thanks Steve, found it "AC Electric Depot". I am sure I had it once but then it may have been in 2004 and I thought I had lost it, now I know how :hehe:

I just downloaded davido's new c class off the dls. They have been released by victrainz.
The textures are real funny. Most of the loco has big bits of black all over it and they won't work in 09 becuase they don't use LOD meshes.

First its QGR Commissioner, then when someone last week posts from South Australia its CEO SAR NOW its GWR Dist Sup. I'd wager if some one posted from the Kingdom of Whoop Whoop, South side of the creek on the outskirts of Back of Bourke, you'd be in charge of that too Michael ??
Pick ONE and try managing that.

Davido, great shots, as always. What makes me give this full marks, however, is you giving the V's a run in a livery other than that of the Intercity. Don't get me wrong, i like that scheme, but i've always had a spot for the Blue Goose/Candy liveries. Probably because i don't see those anymore.

Matt.

I hear ya, Matt!! I've a spot for the Blue Goose with the distinctive gold/orange tint to the windows.

But yes, Davido... your V Set creations are are just legendary.

Trying some larger panorama type shots, to see how they go.

Typical of many of Australia's rural lines, traffic was generally small to medium length consists. During seasonal times however, large trains, increased and/or unusual motive power, and even double heading was observed...

Here, 933 and 904 thunder out of Melton Valley with a maximum tonnage "wheatie"... much to the adulation of the schoolboy rail enthusiasts.

Forest_Runner, some quality shots, such as we've come to expect from you. Nice work again. I'm also glad that you agree with me on the subject of V-set liveries; i thought i was the only one who cared:)

Seeseeme, that would be the Diesel Locomotive Depot. I'm unsure of the kuid, someone else will help there, i'm sure.

Beautiful screenshots as always Forestrunner, remind me, if you ever make this masterpiece available, to run in compatability mode (as sadly, Ed's trees look...very unpleasant in native mode), but they were never designed for native mode. Definitely starting to shape as a wonderful creation, and truly inspirational :)
