Australian screenshots

thank you for all your comments ...

I will continue to show you the screen on the progress on this map

Well done kidoug!! :udrool:
Perhaps its good to sit back a few thousand miles! That way you don't take it all for granted, and can see what it really looks like :hehe:

In your picture

you appear to have used the standard Auran method of making points. However you have overlaid frogs and check rails.
Although not as good as Andys points, it certainly looks more realistic than Aurans pathetic system.
If you can remember or know how to find them, could you please list the Kuid number for these articles, or the web site that you found them?

Cheers

Hi all,
with Kidoug, I discover the Australian world of TRS… and it's beautiful!:udrool:
Thank you all for your screens… good atmosphere because it makes hot and I perspire! ;)

Bloody good effort mate. You can tell you're from overseas, as the NR Class feature heavily on your rails - most Aussie trainzers are sick of seeing the damned things in real life, so we don't bother with them in a simulator!

There must be something wrong with me as i want to get out and photograph NR's :p

Just before we get back onto the right topic lol.

I love NR's. Its better to see them instead of non-stop 82 classes on the Illawarra line here :P

Anyway, back to screenshots ! :p

I dont mind the NR's either, since i live 400km north of Perth i dont get to see them so i aint sick of them. Though mind you i love narrow gauge locos and where i live at the moment the QR locos have taken over the old ARG rollingstock. :D:D:D

I dont mind the old vanilla livery either, and its good to get photos of them like this, as they are turning them out with Pacnat liverys.....

Cheers

David

Me too! I love the NR's. Maybe its because I am from Queensland and I have never seen them before.

You've only got to go down to Acacia Ridge if you want to see NRs. You're in Redcliffe, if you can get a bus to maybe Shorncliffe then train to Coopers Plains, you walk down Boundary Road. There is a bridge that goes over the tracks at Acacia Ridge, you can walk down the stairs and around to the cul-de-sac.

Always some standard gauge activity down there, lot of shunting.

Thanks Colhad :D
There's a bus near my house that goes to Petrie, which might be easier. I shall have to look into paying a small visit to Acacia Ridge to spot a few NR's.

Thanks again,
Mitch

Hi Dreaddman

Is is the fact that the 1460 class only went up to 1501? Hence the oddly named 1502 class.;)

number 1 the unit number is wrong
number 2 the shield is to high
number 3 the nose shield wraps a little around to the side of the loco
number 4 the bogies are for the 1700/1720 class project
number 5 no horns

just o name a few lol other than that not a bad effort mark

cheers
