thanks Ipswich is coming along well, in regards to the wagons hauled by 1461 and 1492 they are KA livestock wagons, with two KKB combination livestock and Guards wagons one at each end of the rake.

Hi Muliebuck,

Gee I've never seen you speechless before! :o:hehe::wave:

A string of QR Carriages and 2163 A await departure from the siding.

The guard's van is Greg Cash's BLV car, it's not quite a TGV but the photos I used on it are from the latter. I have got Greg's permission to upload but I may reskin one of his longer BLVs without the guards compartment.

The QLX's, I found some photos of maroon coloured ones on the net like this one.

I did mine to match Greg's passenger cars. The graffiti'd one is done using a photograph I took a few years ago.

The Auran QLX's weren't really made with industries in mind, there's no visible loading/unloading of them in game if they were upgraded to industry status in later versions of TRS. With that in mind, I may not worry about making them industry compatable. They will still look good in a consist.

At the Zig Zag Railway, a problematic DD17 starts erupting smoke in the guise of Karl Marx.

The driver, unused to these occurrences, attempts to shield his eyes from the horror. Later in the day when he finishes his shift he will write in the Fault Report log, 'GF' - short for 'general fault'.

would any of you northern creators have a texture the same as the nose texture on this? i.e. white wingy bit with gold lines around it and blue around that?

If so could you please email me a copy?

cheers

One of the more difficult shapes to get right is the QR shield. I think the hardest thing is the wings when they wrap around from front to side. Then the small curvy parts at the end of the wing. Tricky things to do.

2103A leads a small freight consist of about 13 cars through Wadlbavale.

I've also reskinned Rob's SAR OB gondola into a QR type. Not sure what they're called in Queensland, I've never been real clear when it comes to freight cars.

Another guards van, this one is modelled off Greg's CLV wooden carriage. Again, not the perfect TGV but not too bad. Nice to have some QR guards vans I reckon.

What's this, a red 2100?? Must have been that way for a while as they have weathered a bit.

Hi Pete send me a email as I dont have yours anymore lost my address book when I transfered to new pc cant add attachments if I email you through the forums ..you still got mine?
as Col said its a bit tricky but when you have access to the Gmax mesh well its a little different what I did was to break the texture into 2 one for the front and the other to match up on the sides

And finally Laidley station is a work in progress,

updates soon.

Col, your QR stuff is looking good. :D

Mark, screens are great as usual. :)

Cheers,

Bill.
