Very nice Davido, These V Sets look great, Are they going to be a released freeware version, payware or private stash material?(Need too bribe wife with C/Card and let her go shopping so I can buy a few items of Payware sometime soon hehe) I am rather interested as I am building a DEM (thanks Seeseeme and Jerker) version of the Illawarra Line and they sure would look rather nice running along the line once I am done.

But all the V sets you have posted look excellent. Always enjoyed a run in them from Wollongong too Sydney, I am in Adelaide nowdays and the diesel trains here just don't cut it.

Cheers

Righto, how many Tasmanians are amongst us. The first couple of locos that I intend to do in Tasrail livery. I'm going to try and fix a glaring defficiency in the TRS loco and rollingstock as far as Tasmania goes.

Now, I can only make do with what's available but I think they have come out really well. I've reskinned the QR 2100 into a D class, D 2020 and D 2021. These locos were Ex-WA and were sent to NZ enroute to Tasmania for modifications.

The ones I created for TRS....

Tasrail also acquired ex QR 1502/1460 class locos. Extensive modifications were carried out in New Zealand before heading to the Apple Isle. They did receive a lowered short hood nose for better visibility.

My version of the DQ class, only one available is Pikka's 1502 but turned out alright.

Now some scenery shots, the route is Marooma. I think Flathog is the creator of that one. Looks just right for a Tasmanian setting I think.

AD602000,

Why not release to versions of the QR content like what has been done with a lot of Victorian content? Like, release a standard and a narrow gauge version?

Just a thought...

Gotta love all this QR DOMINATING! the thread at the moment ..........:hehe:
Looking good so far Pete glad to you see you got the wings worked out ....
You realise now by creating QR you have entered the ETERNAL DEBATE! of the BLUE R.G.B values.....it's not pretty let me tell you
Mine are R74...G112...B138
Meanwhile at the QDR Workshops...Class leader 1461 paid a visit

Hi folks

More Tasrail, Pacific National Tasmania as well.

Firstly I've had this backed up on a disc for a while. I did up an 830 like the old ZC class locos in Tasmania. ZC class are ex-QR 1300 class locos that were sent south in the late 80s.

My version, I've actally kept it as 830 class.

PN Tasmania liveried DQ class. Although hasn't happened, PN Do operate MKA class locos, also former QR 1300s with modified front cab.
