Hey do you know where i can find that dual gauge on DLS? Regards Shane

That's Zec's VR track set. Comes on broad gauge, standard gauge and dual gauge single rail.

However, since you're from Queensland and that is 3'6 and SG dual gauge, I'm not sure that'll be much use to you.

stefmiz what grass texture is that in your first shot on the embankment?

I'll check later who it was made by, you had to get it through a link on this forum, thanks matruck for letting me know, not actually too sure who made them!

Firstsoloflight made them, Mick posted the link a bit back in this forum when I queried about some of the textures. Highly recommend them, they make the scene 100 times better.
Cheers

Hello All,

Just some progress undertaking some scenic shots around Mount Morgan Township away from the railway. Current WIP, as I am still finishing off the actual structures in the street. It is beginning to look like a town now.

Corner of Central Street & Dee Street - with the Grand Hotel looming in the distance with shopfronts lining the 'Golden Mile' and the Ampol garage under construction.

Dee Street - Small Showrows. Now currently this is where the IGA stands but back in 1952, these were little shops that contained a blacksmith, a solicitor/barrister and land survey office which was on the corner of Central & Dee.

Hi all

Firstly, nice shots Roy. Your Sydney themed route is coming along beautifully. Please do keep sharing it with us.

Now, I have a question for the brains trust. Memeboy and I are working our next project that requires engine files etc for Diesel locomotives. As he is an electric train specialist, he is unsure how to write up some engine files. Can any of our experts give us a helping hand on how to set up Diesel locos and what info I need to find him so we can get them built?

Many thanks for anyone who is able to help.

Thanks Taggy.
Here's a couple of screenshots.

The Indian Pacific was due in at 11:07am but a derailment outside of Parkes has inconvenienced 200 passengers arriving at Central Platform #1 at 6:55pm.

taggy, may I suggest Azervich (Aaron). He's made a few e-specs for diesels now, might be able to give you a hand

Many thanks Callum, I'll send off a PM. :)

Roy: No problems mate, I'm loving your updates.

I'm also doing some experimenting with the Environment in T:ANE on my Sydney CBD layout. Trying to get the right sky effects at dawn and dusk on screenshots can be somewhat different when you then put it on video. I used Fraps and Windows Movie Maker for this first movie clip. It's taken at dusk and it needs a lot of refining.

Cheers,
Roy3b3

PS: Just noticed I don't have night-mode (interior lights) on the NSW fleet. I may need to avoid 'dusk' in future.

Other points to take care of in movie clips,.... Switch off control panels - switch off mouse pointer - hide junctions - just for starters!
