Australian screenshots

More excellent shots coming boys, thanks for sharing. Some of the scenery in these shots is just brilliant.

XP2010 powers WT27 Dubbo XPT out of Bathurst. (Fictional)

I've been using this layout as a Guinea Pig for the signaling system and apart from some frustrations, it seems to work well enough. I'm now converting my main fictional route to using Interlocking towers and its a challenge that's for sure! Unfortunately SP1 broke my DEM map of the South Coast but I have finally managed to get the DEM Map into game so I might try again (for the 100th time) to get somewhere with it. Might start with Port Kembla, just for you Mick. lol :)

Hey that route looks familiar Mick haha, finish it off please :p

I was wondering if you'd spot that Rich, Kind of have to do it WA style now though slowly did sum more to the poor old NR Class to the other day i actually made a start on the bogie's for it believe it or not LOL.
Cheers Mick.

Garratt Sidings, Gosford. Still alot of work required, but I thought I'd show a progress shot.

NSWGR46class would confirm/clarify this, but from what I understand, that was the unique South Maitland Railways DMU - it was a 4-car set built by Tulloch if my terrible memory serves me right but ended up being scrapped in the 60's (I saw a photo of it parallel running with a NSWGR train in an old issue of Australian Railway History magazine, an issue which sadly I've since lost so I can't clarify this myself). Again I'm sure this can be clarified by those more knowledgeable about NSW prototype than me though. :)

Almost spot on - there were only 3 cars built

These were done about 18 months - 2 years ago but I lost the mesh - :(

Exhaust scrubber catalytic converter on a NSW 48 class for underground maintenance trainz - as fitted to an 48 class from Auran Content Creation kit files - as part of / added to train mesh file - I did put in a ticket to the help desk regarding the possibility of a release but have no reply was received.

@Enkidoh - I thank you kindly for your "terrible" memory of a fascinating private self propelled vehicle
@NSWGR 46Class - thanks for the link; marvellous reading. Hope you find the mesh, one day. I was only fixing shadow meshes this evening! :hehe:

I had made a scrubber as an addon, but the issue I could not find a solution to, was placement of the original exhaust.att, which obviously would not line up with the exhaust port of the scrubber. Funnily enough I did send the mesh to DavidO.

Here are links to the after market scrubber kits for NSW 48 class locos -

Theses are not full locos only the parts to add to the existing loco that you will need to clone first and then copy and paste the files into - empty directors are included for you to use as place holders. The Scrubber folder has the scrubber mesh in it.

They include a config file but you will need to edit the kuid xxxxx:xxxx to suit the cloned kuid - if you can not edit a config file in a text editor these are not for you.

Auran's 48's https://www.sendspace.com/file/0ro9t6

DavidO's 48's https://www.sendspace.com/file/mbun6b

the version for David O's 48 was only tested on the Tuscan and Candy 48's but in theory should fit them all - the auran version should fit the post 2009 built in 48
