Australian screenshots

Hi pdkoester. Yes, Auran included the GM1 class in original Commonwealth Railways livery in earlier versions of Trainz, but I guess it must have been removed in 2012. In any event, it should be easy enough to find on the DLS (like above I'll check CMP for you and post it's KUID here).

EDIT: the GM class units in Trainz which I know of are:

The Built in version was released by Auran in two liveries: Australian National green and gold: AN GM class kuid:-1:100013 and Commonwealth Railways maroon and silver kuid:523:1038, and two versions in ARG livery (Paintshed reskins): kuid:60697:102263 and kuid:83329:100100. There are probably more, but these are just some of the ones I have installed on my system which I found in CMP. Hopefully this has helped. :D

These are a start. I was looking for something more up to date, TS12 quality. Like quality of the built in Mojave Santa Fe locomotives. I'll keep looking. Thanks.

Have a look at the VR S class on the DLS by either AD602000 or myself think I have done a TS12 version of the S class

Old Doomben 1969

Good afternoon to everyone, and I hope you all had a productive day aswell as enjoying the cold weather. :)

Just to report a small item, after locating the diagrams of various un-catalogued Queensland Railways Station drawings in a dusty old box in QHR Ltd Historical Collection, I found the drawings to the old Doomben Railway Station prior to the 1970s era amalgamation. After looking at photos of the station in the fantastic book; Railway Stations - Greater Metropolitan Brisbane by Railshop; I have decided to turn back to the clock to 1969 when the time was when Sir Joh was at a election, life was still pretty carefree and steam was on its last days. Still some minor touches to finish off and hopefully be ready to upload shortly along with my other stations series. :)

So enjoy an turn back to a simpler time.

Front - Can anyone remember these adverts back in the day?

Note: The Sir Joh election poster from the 1969 election, adds a bit of a pure queensland touch. So dont you worry about that :P

This is absolutely perfect, what I had in mind: VR S class Diesel,<kuid:73150:100653>
Thanks! Now I will see what else I can add with it.

Hi jazza1281,
These are simple fixes
Go here
http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?56002-Listing-of-Errors-and-How-to-Fix-Them
Now it might be a bit daunting at first, once you get your head around it is pretty easy
Make SURE You clone the faulty asset,This way you can practise on it and if you make a mistake you can just delete it, clone it again and a way you go
See how you go

Cheers,
Patchy

Hi Patchy, thanks for the link. Afetr a bit of editing, replacing and creating a few tga files, they now work in TS12. As you said, once you figure it out its pretty easy.
Thanks again.:)

Due to a loco failure 4201 is left to drag the Southern - B end leading. Both 42's are working hard
the 42 is a rebuild of my rebuild - kit bashed from the Auran source mesh.
the photo is staged to show off the changes to the rear end - any takers on whats new

After re doing some of my layout that starts at Parkes I decided to do some running and to take a few screenshots of those runs.

1: 2 NR Class locomotives with x20 container flatcars loaded with x1 40ft container each passing Parkes railway station on the 2nd track from Sydney.
Time: 10:00am

2: Rail Transport Museum locomotive 3642 arrives at Parkes Railway Station from Forbes during the Central West Heritage Train in September 2012. (I know 3642 is green, but the only green 36 on the DLS is numbered 3601)
Time: 16:00pm

3: Rail Transport Museum locos 44211 & 4490 arrive at Parkes ahead of 3642 and the rest of the train from Orange.
Time: 15:00pm

4: x2 NR Class Locomotives in PN stars livery hauling a steel coil train of x20 steel coil flatcars. Fully Loaded from FCL, Parkes.
Time: 18:30pm

5: x4 48 Class locomotives in Graincorp livery hauling a loaded grain train of x28 NGXH AWB liveried grain hoppers. From Parkes Sub Terminal 'Graincorp'
Time: 6:30am

Great Images but would not train 3 be made up of Auroa cars not Indian Pac cars ?

Something new, hmmm,1 new window and the ladder, because I still have your old 42 class.
If I remeber correctly speaking the real world 42s, they were really prone to failiure or was that the GM class?

Salem cigarettes, not a good look for Auran as well as potentially illegal if uploaded. Could easily be construed as banned cigarette advertising and land them in court, particularly in view of the fact a lot of children play with Trainz.
