Hello all, first off I want to express my appreciation to everyone involved in porting the Trainz experience over to handheld devices. I like how many of the features from the PC version seem to have made it in. However, I seem to be experiencing several serious issues right now.

First, when I enter my Planet Auran login information, the game sticks on "validating Planet Auran account" indefinitely (seriously, I've waited for over 10 minutes and nothing happens). My account info is correct as I've used it to log in here...

Second, and more importantly, I am having extremely poor performance on my iPod Touch 4th generation. I'm talking an average of 10 fps maybe, and frequent graphics pausing where the entire game will freeze for a second or two before continuing. Is anyone else experiencing these problems or is there something I can do on my device to speed the game up? I have already tried restarting my device and making sure all other apps are closed. I won't be overly dramatic and say that Trainz Driver is "unplayable" as I've been able to successfully complete the basic tutorials, but is is certainly unpleasant to interact with at the moment.

I would love to see an update dealing with these issues. Thanks for listening.

@DJRastaMonkey... Hi. You almost got out these words from my mouth.. lol... I totally agree with you, I using fully updated iphone 4s and experiencing the same issues, however the log in period seems the same but will recognized when you go back to main menu. So next you're logged in already. Yes the framerates seems very weak , I've finished all the tutorial on the 1st day , but was easy with my trainz "background" . The LAG issues not unknown, and definiately need a "strong" update . I accept the fact, that wasn't easy to put this game in a small mobile device, but the framerate .... don't wanna talk about. Since the 1st day , didn't play Trainz again. but Im loyalty. cheers.

Can I use driver commands and if yes where are they?

You can't use driver commands. You can download routes and sessions uploaded from the Ipad but not trains.

Does anyone know how to get the sound back. I downloaded both on Iphone and the ipad .. had sound on both. By the time I completed the 2nd tutorial on the iphone I lost all the sound. I know it had to be me as the ipad is still perfect. ... Sorry to tag onto your comment but would like to get those also. Will never be bored in waiting rooms again .... have to train (no pun intended) myself not to open trainz during daytime as then nothing gets done .....

This is a mute question now as my iphone was stolen 8/12/12:'( No problem as it works great on the ipad and that is a better platform for an old fart like me anyway.....

Not sure where you got it from but Its not available yet as far as I know. Its certainly not showing up in the play store on my phone.

Running fine on Asus TF300T no problems now but required restart to run properly. Not yet compatible with Galaxy S3.

Not sure if i'm in the right place so apologies if i'm not. You seem to be THE person regarding the iphone/ipad version etc. My son loves playing this on the ipad but he wants to know, how does he get aeroplanes and cars moving? He saw a Youtube video but can't find how to do this himself. Any help would be grateful.
