We're experiencing a delay with Apples approval process, which is causing the release of Trainz Driver to be delayed. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I'll update this thread with the new expected release date once we hear back from Apple.

But I want it now it is the release date apple needs to go faster now because I said so and I want it we must get the preshush

Cam, we'll be releasing on Android as soon as we can, as you're aware there is a huge number of devices that we have to test for, and even then we won't be able to account for all devices that run Android. Because of this, the Android versions are always going to take that slight bit longer.

The wait won't be to much longer.

So Cratey you guys are testing each device just to make sure it works the way it should be right like the controls or routes or engines and to fix any errors just to make it perfect right.

We test on the devices available to us. When released, we'll let the community know which devices are directly supported, and the specs required to run Trainz Driver properly. Because of the sheer number of Android devices, it's impossible for us to test on every single device.

Unfortunately, at the moment at least, Windows Phone is a much smaller market <snip> (approx 1.3% according to a quick google search).

The stats I've seen say it's up to 4% now - but that's still too small for you guys to bother with (but not too small for me to tease (troll?) you about)

We get the party line: "Trainz Driver will be released on iPhone first, followed shortly by Android devices." but it seems there are a lot of sarcastic answers to this question, when ALL THE WHILE, Windows Phone users MONEY is JUST as good as Android or iPhone users MONEY. So, I WOULD NOT PAY ANY EXTRA FOR A WINDOWS PHONE VERSION. EVER! I think to be truly successful, you cater to EVERY man and woman E-X-A-C-T-L-Y as much as you cater to your "Elite" customers. I paid HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS LAST WEEK for your stuff, and I come to the Forums and THIS is the first thing I encounter? GEE, NO SECOND CLASS CITIZENS HERE, RIGHT???????

You make a version for everyone, if you are not getting the message, unless there aretechnical reasons prohibiting it. THAT'S YOUR JOB.

I, also, have a windows 7 htc phone, which is modern, up to the minute and capable of running an app like this, and , frankly, MUCH BETTER than an Android Phone OR iPHONE. So tell me, has Apple EVER gotten the iPhone right in, let's see...4s iterations?????

I think the people responsible for these apps and programs are looking for an easy BUCK, since Android is so popular......er, hold on, SO IS WINDOWS! How 'bout a straight answer to this, which is what you KNOW we Windows Phone users want.

BTW, I also own a Mac Pro, and I want more stuff for the Mac.

Tony_Hillam and Cratey are N3V employees. Don't insult them. And yes, apple has gotten the Iphone right before, just Siri doesn't work perfectly yet.

it looks cool i have trainz driver (2006 pc version) trainz 2010 and trs 2004 (witch came with my 2010) and trainz 2009 plus i have trainz 1.3 but 1.3, 2009, and driver(pc) were presents from aunts and grandmas so i only show up as a newbie but im actually a veteran ps: i ment to ask is this thing gonna have a servayer or whatever cause i have a ipod and i wana play trainz and not that lame "my first trainZZZZ set" it looks so bad pls reply

From what I have heard, This version of Trainz will not have surveyor mode, due to the fact that mobile devices do not have enough power to run route creation software. However, it should include the ability to download routes others have created using Trainz for IPad. Trainz for IPad supports Surveyor, but does not work on iPods or iPhones.

I too have the Trainz product for the PC and the iPad and am anxiously awaiting the iPhone version to be released.
