Are you a rail photographer??

@ Caddylars : the grade seems a little bit steep there into that tunnel...

I know:hehe: .
Its mostly the commuter trains, and shunters that uses these tunnels.
As i said, the tunnels leads down under the primary tracks, and out to the Yards.

I was down at the Great Central Railway on Sunday and took a few photos and videos like you do. The day was nice and sunny and very enjoyable. This is the first set of photos, I'll post more later on.

Wow, those are some really good pics, mind if I have them:p?

Are you happy just saving them off the web or did you want slightly higher resolution images? Happy for you to have them so long as they are not used for commercial gain.

I'd like higher resolution images, and no they would not be used for commercial gain (I never sell my pictures so I see no reason to do so with yours;)).

I have to say that the Prairie (does that plate say 5572? I can't quite make out the fourth digit) looks quite grubby, especially compared to Earl Bathurst. I'd have thought that unless the engine had been warm for a few days they would have cleaned it up a bit - you can even see through the glass in Trojan's cab, which is impressive.

Good photos though.

Found some more rail to photograph :p

The old Don Station, featured in the TRS2006 Toronto Rail Lands layout, now preserved in Todmorden Mills park in Toronto.

When you say preserved...

do you mean that the building is just there? Or are they trying to make it look pretty again?

Holiday over, now for some more rail photos!

How many Pandrol clips can you see here?

And who else knows why this rail is like it is?

No prizes, just trying to get a bit of interest, there is a whole world of railways away from your computers!:p
