Are you a rail photographer??

Very funny anthony, I've got some rail pictures as well, but I'm too embarrassed to share them.

Theme for tonight is silver - roofed Class 47's circa 1970's/1980's.
Looking downwards there are 2 from London Liverpool Street, then Peterborough and finally York stations. All are my copyright.

What's the narrow gauge track there for, what trains run on it?

JW! can I borrow the CSX loco for a couple of days, I'm having problems getting my articulated truck (semi to you) to an overnight drop in Leeds. If I went in this loco they wouldn't block the road with the same car two nights running!

No theme tonight, as I've no new pictures this week, so just an old shot of 73123 at Clapham Junction a few years ago!

Flying Flea

Despite being on my doorstep I rarely call here. It's RMS Locotec in Wakefield. No shunters visible yesterday, just a splendid MOD flying flea. Is this what is known as a speeder in the USA? Would make an interesting garden shed!:p Photo taken by sticking my arm through a hole in the gate!

Some lovely photographs hugpet, thanks for the link to your personal library. It brought back some nice memories of my holidays in Switzerland, including my trips on the Glacier Express.
