Still using Trainz 2006?

How many people out there are still using Trainz 2006. I have been
building a layout for ages and have about 150 squares completed at this
stage. I used 2006 plus addons 1,2,3 and 4. I tried transfering over to
Trainz 2009 but there are too many objects missing and faults at this stage.
I would like to get it out into the Trainz Community at some stage in the
future if enough people are still using it.

Plenty of folks are still using TRS06, and any route made in it will work in later version anyway...

For the moment stay in TRS2006 there doesn't seem to be any need to move to TRS2009 for layouts and my understanding is there are still issues with Tress etc.

I'd wait until TRS2009 is stable.

I still use 2006. I plan on staying for a while too since the I like it. I make routes and, the lower my version, the more people can use them. If I go to 2009, only 2009 users will be able to use the routes.
 
Same here, I have 2006, TC3 and 2009. I build in 2006 so that my friends that are using 2006 can use my stuff.
 
2006 here. I don't anticipate going to 2009 until I can get a computer that can take advantage of 2009, and that is a way down the road.

I just like to ask, is this all your own work?
Or have you used addons out of 1,2,3 and 4?
If you have, I think the original creators would be somewhat cross with you!
If it is all your own work, then well done! Nice one!
 
Very happy with 2006. Finally got my computer configured to run 2006 and CMP and the DLS as intended by it's designers. As my Dad used to say, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it".

Interesting comment, TRS2009 usually runs faster on most machines. Any special reason why you think it won't on yours?

The only thing I can think of is texture compression if you have a graphics card that is more than ten years old.

Still using Trainz 2006

2006 here can't go to 09 need motherboard to run XP/3 and problem need graphic card too.

Yep, have TRS2007 so, have the best of both worlds of this version with its German content and TRS2006 SP1 for everything else.....:)
And coupled to that with TRS2004 and TC3 installed, I'm a Trainz freeeeeeeak. :hehe:
