Hmmm - it *might* be telling you, that some installed content is truly missing, or faulty. If downloaded content is faulty, it'll throw up that dreaded 'black screen'. All I can suggest is you open CMP, load the route in question by selecting it, then right click and 'show dependencies'. Any 'faulty' dependencies will show with a red puzzle piece, or yellow (if it in turn, has missing dependencies).
