Burlington Northern - extent of route

I am interested in a mid-western USA route and the Burlington Northern may be appropriate. However, the N3V description is VERY brief. There are route maps on the web but I doubt that the N3V version is that extensive. Is there some further information for the route. For $4.00 I would just get it but $40.00 needs some indication of what I would be buying.....

If you are referring to the Legends of the BN routes, I believe those are fictional.
