Route Merging Guide

I think it will be very helpful for us trainers to have an easy guide on route merging for example, which route merges easily on which other route?So we can enjoy greater distances.

You can merge any routes as long as the heights at the merge point and track direction are the same
there is no way of knowing which routes will merge easily unless the creator has made a series of routes intended to be merged
I have just merged 10 modules of mine to form a route these range from ts2004 to tane
I checked the heights at merge points and if they were different left a couple of blank boards space between them for the join to grade track

You can also use TransDem to change the height of a route.

Knowing exactly what will merge in all cases is virtually impossible to know with the amount of routes available.

Have you had a look on N3V's Youtube channel? I've got a fairly basic merging guide on my website that covers up to TS12.
