Yet Another WIP-Stanley County Railroads.

Here it is folks,
That one route I'm always talking about, the Stanley County Railroads.
This route is based upon years of drawing on my painted wood floor in my old house (I will try to get some pictures next time) I was always imagining a system of roads and railroads, that used my Matchbox cars of course.
This is compiled of what the real version would have looked like.
Sure its not very realistic, but its child's play!
I'll add some pictures in a minute.

I forgot to put the size warning in the title, I hope the moderators will have mercy!

Now the building process of this route is a little different.
I have put in most of the track work, therefore making it operable, but the scenery is not yet complete.
Realism may not be found by all people, thus it was never created to be such.
The pencil drawings on my floor were not realistic, this probably will be no exception. However this is fun, and it brings back so many memories too.
This shot shows Norfolk Souther Train GM36 passing by a grain local at Bickford Illinois.

Here we catch up to a CSX train at Rockwood Illinois.

In due time, this area will have trees, overgrowth and everyday life details.
My mission is to make this completely operable, then add the fine details.

Mind you that I was a creative and picky child.
Though it was on a floor, I was imagining a real world.
Ah, life as 7 years old (okay I admit it, I played on that floor until we moved 7 months ago) always such an adventure!
I did strive for realism and always had a certain passion for what I made.
